Thanksgiving Eve! Hope y’all have a wonderful holiday weekend!

I’m Totin these two today!
That's a resplendent pair from yesterday, Ron!

Since I just don’t have anything different or fancy for this thread let me say GREAT KNIVES EVERYONE! This thread is just amazing in the variety and quality of knives. Thank you all for sharing.
Clay
+5K!

Happy Thanksgiving, Clay, and thanks for your contributions here! Glad you made it back after some time away.

That "two-tone" effect is VERY cool, Capt.!

For all of you traveling over the holiday weekend, safe travels.
Happy Thanksgiving.
I've gone full on knife nut today! Couldn't make up my mind.
Fantastic foursome, Gary!

(And thanks for supporting my efforts to increase my vocabulary.

)
I am wishing all y'all a happy and healthy Thanksgiving. Encouraged by a few denizens of this thread, I am putting a couple of my carry knives to culinary capers today. Just collected some honey mushrooms (from the wilds of my backyard) and will break them down for mushroom gravy to serve tomorrow with sausage and cornbread dressing. Also have my Queen Country Cousin as a back-up.
Peace out!
- Stuart
Sounds like a tasty plan, Stuart!

(And thanks for the trip down memory lane with your closing remark; I haven't heard that phrase in ages!

)
5K Qs
Wow Gary, it's a good think my name didn't start with a "T." You outdid yourself with the thesaurus this time. Thanks for the comment as always.
The canoe has been calling to me lately and I guess I'll take a chance on the Imperial. I'll just keep it separate from all its brothers.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Good plan regarding an Imperial canoe, Alan - hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
Thanks GT! No farmer?? That is ....... untenable. Expect a PM from me

.
...
Same knives for me today, but a different photo (L.T. Wright patriot and a copper farmer).
Thanks for the PM, Tom.

I don't mind watching reruns of knives like yours!

Carrying these fairly new to me Stag covered Barlows today just because I can . The Henckels was found at a Flea Market and the other one is a re-covered Old Cutler from Paul Hilborn . I really can not tell you how much I like this Old Cutler . These two knives will never get carried without a pocket slip either ...

Harry
Big-league brace of stag Barlows, Harry!!

...
Thank you very much GT, lovely carries there

...
Thanks, Jack.
Ah well, if it's dark enough, I call it ebony. I ain't no arborologist
Your Forrest-Master looks to be in better shape than these. After I pick up brother #2 from the airport tonight, I expect we'll use our campers to open some bottles.
Yeah, I though it was ebony, too, until supratentorial found a catalog clip of the knife showing that the knife started its life with a spey blade and cocobolo covers!
I trust the bottle opening ceremonies were successful.

My Forest-Master shows the effects of some youthful indiscretions on my part, but it's been nominally in continuous service since about 1960, so it's in pretty decent shape (a prime example of "use it or lose it"?).

This just arrived today. Next step is to get rid of the protective coating so the brass will start to patina. Nice lock-up with no movement and pretty smooth! I also have a copper version on the way.
...
Congrats on the brass Mercator, tomsch!

My "standard" Black Cat is one of my favorite knives!
I have been carrying this Tidiute 54 Big Jack, along with my usual Wenger Canyon of course a lot lately. This jack is a great using size. Mom asked me to bring my famous apple pie tomorrow, so it’s a great chance to work on that honestly earned patina.
Happy Thankgiving!

What if I asked you to bring your famous apple pie to The Porch, sir??

Two fine knives, and I REALLY like that sheath!!

I admire (and envy

) the patina you've got going on your Guardians Lambsfoot, FBC!!

What a ravishing knife, Gev!!

And those kids did an outstanding job with that touching Imagination song!

I'm not a huge jazz fan, but I do know that "it don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing"!
Today's loadout included a BFTC (Thanks, Randy!), a Fiddleback Esquire (Thanks,
@VANCE), and my girl's Peanut.
Looking fabulous, Shawn!

Vic Baker's Knife today.
I figured I'd take it out to the park and let it get some fresh air n sunshine and how does it repay me?
By biting me!

The alox scales are extremely thin and I didn't even think about finger overhang when I absentmindedly pushed the blade closed.

It's a good thing I carry a small first aid kit in my pack cuz ol' digit number three was bleeding like a stuck pig.
Ouch!

Now I have second thoughts about getting that model.
White Owl Kryptonite Kool
Fine White Owl, Will!

Is that the only green in your world at this time of year, or do you have plenty of evergreens?
Today again with my only GEC 73 (I liked having a 73 in stag linerlock, but I can not find it to buy), but for me it's a bit heavy with both blades, so I liked to feel it in my hand just with a blade.
...
...
That's a LOT of knife, Pt-Luso!!

Stuck at work on this turkey day. Gonna use this pair to make a chili for my guys. Hopefully we’ll get out about two to go home and do dinner with the family.

Handsome 73 (?) and lanyard, SVT!

I'd go for chili ANY day, ANY meal - maybe turkey chili on Thanksgiving!!

I hope you get to do the family thing ASAP!
Stag one today
What a stunning "triple play", bonzodog!!

Travman & Alan, those two are sure persuasive "spokesknives" for the GEC #25 pattern!

The GS on mine stands for Grand Sachem when I carry it.
Good point, Jer!

I've been carrying mine without the GS shield, but now maybe I can glue it back in!
...and an R. Cover Sr. Drop Point in Snake wood covers. I think I'm covered

.
...
That snakewood Cover is incredible, Ted!!

My "big knife" this week is a Rough Rider one-arm trapper:
My "K.N.I.F.E." knife this week is a RR Copper Ridge pen knife with buffalo covers:
I'm also carrying this again, and not even trying to stop!
