What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

What great pictures and location. Thanks for sharing, as I haven't been in the blind yet this year (our late season opens today). I see that you and I have the same "liniment" for cold. cramped knees and hands in the blind. FYI, my Lab is ready to trade me in, too. He cruises the dove field, looking for more productive shooters.

Lol! Yeah dad used that medical brandy to loosen up his vocal cords so he could call in the geese. I've kept up the tradition, even though i need a goose call, while he can use his voice.

For Stagurday, I set aside my three of yesterday for something much easier on the pockets. A typically Teutonic tiny tot by Munster, which I take is a German firm, as implied by the Rostfrei on the blades. It is 2 3/4" closed, but is fully equipped with a corkscrew, a large file blade (the file surface is on the flattened thick blade edge, rather than on the sides), and a scary sharp pointed punch (which looks like the pick blade on a lobster knife), as well as pen and sheepfoot.

Have a great day, y'all.

Now that is one cool knife !!! I love it...love it

The placement of a NEHI ad on a lady's leg cover is such genius. That made my day! Thanks, Alan, for starting my day off with a smile.

That knife sits on my desk at all times. It wasn't a bad grape soda either, which just means I'm showing my age. I don't have many anymore, but advertising knives are a great collectible.

It was excellent, at least in my memories. A NEHI or an RC cola and a moon pie (or Nabs crackers). If you put salted peanuts in your bottle of Coke, you could have come from my neck of the woods. It's the only way to enjoy peanuts and a Coke (all sodas were generally called Cokes regardless of brand, despite Pepsi having been developed not much more than 30 miles away) and drive a truck/tractor, all at the same time.

I've traveled a bit so I'm familiar with the different ways we name our drinks. Unfortunately, not enough to know which is what and where. I found the safest is just be myself. But peanuts in coke is a treat, if not in my diet anymore.

Some really great knives being carried today :) I started adding quotes, but had to give up!
