What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Those two vintage bone knives are absolutely ravishing in every way, Stuart!!:eek::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup: You must have been walking on air while you carried them!! :D:cool::cool:

Thanks, GT. They are about right for carrying in the pocket. And the old jigged bone does brighten the day when they come out. Your Russell canoe inspired me to bring out two old favorites of mine on this relatively slow and easy-going Sunday. The first is a cousin to your knife:

The second is one of the knives that got me started in BladeForums, a Schrade 2OT Premium Jack from 1961. It could use some fresh air and a walk-around.

Gary, that is a gorgeous Gent! Funny, I almost pulled out my Case Damascus stockman, but the Unicorn was on the counter and wanted to get out.

Weekend BBQ.

Great looking prawns and Schatt !!!

Lovely pairing Tom :) You sound more organised than I am this year, I still have cards to write!

LOL! :D  If you were only going to take two things back from Yorkshire, I don't think you could do better than that my friend! :D It's only very recently that Henderson's has got as far as York though! :D Your Mohawk is a beauty :)

I hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend :) Have a great Sunday folks  Exciting times in the Guardians thread (I'd put in a hyperlink there if I was more clued up), as Greg @Whittling Away has been busy building an index for the entire thread - https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/guardians-of-the-lambsfoot.1406735/page-172#post-17681582 :) :)

Sunday Best ;)

Going to check out the Guardian thread in a bit ! Relaxing today cleaning house :)

Today a modest one: my Klaas two-bladed gentlemans knife
dscf2461.jpg

Got it directly from the factory, when I visited Mr. Schiesen for a short shopping break on a business travel. It was a found by the owner in the endless shelfs of the factory building. It was produced in the 1970´s and forgotten. This happens from time to time, when they rifle through the shelfs of that old and somehow spooky building.
Cool story and find. Sounds like one to remember :D:cool::thumbsup:

Smashing ol curved stamp Utica...wow !!!

Ebony 79 Workhorse for today!

Just a wonderful pattern Ron and the ebony really sings :thumbsup:

Boy, you weren't kidding about "special". That is something else altogether, more like "spectacular". Thank you for sharing it.

Thanks Stuart. I really enjoy seeing the great knives you post.

Gary, that is a gorgeous Gent! Funny, I almost pulled out my Case Damascus stockman, but the Unicorn was on the counter and wanted to get out.
Thanks Jeff. Sometimes you have to let the Unicorn run!
