I agree with tdoublek on the Tribal Lock and Will Power on the Zebra Wood, so here are the two combined. The Tribal Lock is a bit rough in its action, but a heck of a lot of fun to use and carry.
And I would like to see GEC use Zebra Wood. I would also love to see Arthur Wright use Zebra Wood or something equally as interesting on a Lambsfoot.

I remember when I was young
My brother seemed to have all the fun
He had the blue cap and uniform
Seemed like all I had was being born
He got to play in the woods and earn a badge or two
While my life felt like do do
But now that I'm older
And have learned a thing or two
Being younger ain't so bad
You finally get to have all those things you wish you had

Old rivers just grow wilder
Old trees just grow stronger
Hopefully the road grows longer
You don't lose your mind
And have plenty more time
To play with old knives and listen to a little more John Prine

Beautiful toffee colour, burnished like an aged relic too

Gev, if you want a locking knife there's an interesting world of them out there... Including some very Old School too:)

That is beautiful wood! On the action, mine is real smooth. I really haven't had a Case of any pattern as nice as my Tribal Lock. It was a bonus for sure on the fit and finish.

Great song...you’re killing it today with the John Prine lyrics!:thumbsup:

Some of my favorite music from my impressionable youth, alongside my favorite knife from those days. Along with my Buck Ranger, this Journeyman went everywhere with me.
Both the Wenger and its owner are a little battered now, but still hanging in there!
I had to dig for it just now and found it buried in my range bag. I think it will stay out and get some well-deserved,nostalgic carry time.

Its all Mr. Prine and his genius. I must have listened to 20 of his songs today. I get a hankering from time to time and must cue him up. God speed John.

It's so  that it stuck a chord and brought back some fond memories! And the fact that you dug it out and put together such an awesome and well composed nostalgic photograph makes me smile from ear to ear :) I hope it brings back lots of life memories as you carry it.

May John play in your heart where no one sees him, but I know we will :D
