What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

It is cold today in northern Virginia (currently 20 F - yes, I know it's colder elsewhere) and a buddy has decided it is a great day for a cook-out. He's set 1:00 p.m. EST, during the "heat of the day", he says (predicted high 33 F), for us to gather around his fire pit for grilled brats and kielbasa and cold beverages. Not having any common sense and anything else to do, I am packing gloves (to hold a beverage) and these guys: a Winchester camper/scout and a Union Cutlery hobo.

Have fun Stuart. I remember a bbq at Lake Tahoe where the food had an inch of snow on them before we had a chance to flip them. Great time.
I've got my Saldana dogleg today. Ironwood and carbon fiber.

Very nice selection there Dylan, beautiful Fiddleback

Thank you, Jack!

Oops, forgot to post my OWN carry! Got Lambsfoot Greedy today! :D ;)

I always enjoy seeing that Unity when you bring it out, just a beautiful old knife.

Lotsa pockets means lotsa toys.

Quite the excellent assortment, Shawn!

Wow, love the grain on that 78, you picked a winner!

Carrying these two today. These feel like "special occasion" knives, but they are simply going to the office with me.

I remember when I was young
My brother seemed to have all the fun
He had the blue cap and uniform
Seemed like all I had was being born
He got to play in the woods and earn a badge or two
While my life felt like do do
But now that I'm older
And have learned a thing or two
Being younger ain't so bad
You finally get to have all those things you wish you had

Old rivers just grow wilder
Old trees just grow stronger
Hopefully the road grows longer
You don't lose your mind
And have plenty more time
To play with old knives and listen to a little more John Prine

Spectacular beauty !!! I could stare all day...wow

My Boker has been a long time companion. I love it. This IXL is working its way towards pushing it out of my pocket. An old knife from the 40's or 50's with perfect pull and strong snap. Nice thin grind with very little wear. It almost seems like it was used for a few months and dulled then thrown in a tool box. The jigging is crisp and the pins near factory. Nice size in hand and pocket at 3 5/8".

Working on the arena ice today.
