Yeah, you can already see the pins on all of the bolsters on mine. I think they start to show up as soon as the original mirror polish loses its sheen.Buffed the bolster and blades of my peanut with a bit of white compound on an old shirt, shined the bolsters up nice but left some character on the blade:

That is a 15 pattern done in 2016. A great one!!That's a fun photo.I've been curious what model number that single blade 440 is?
Hope you feel better soon!I'm falling behind in this thread, at least partly because I got all shaky and achy yesterday, and I think I'm a Flu Fighter now.
@TheChunk91 , that Imperial is older than I am, but in better shape, I think!
Admirable pair, Alan!
Big and bad (and beautiful beads), Zieg!
I like that dapper dark duo, Tom!
That's a cultured couple of knives you have there, Stuart; very classy!
Congrats on the immaculate Italian import, Duane!
Cool collection of Craftsman tools, Steve!
Hope you had a memorable anniversary dinner, Jeff.Congrats on the anniversary and the Mustang!
Get well soon, Jeff; pneumonia/flu combo sounds like no fun at all!Couple of notable knives keeping you company!
Pleasant pair for sure, Ron!
That knife hits the bulls eye (or Nose), FBC!
IMHO, no need to apologize for carrying a Recruit, @315 ! I think it's a splendid knife!
Thanks for leaving me something in your will, Jack, although I'll probably "check out" before you do!I'm glad to have a rotation schedule again to minimize my decision-making.
Thoughtful twosome you picked!
Superb knife, Steve (and excellent photo)!
Thanks for the examples of Case sawcut bone Barlows, guys!Travman, the symmetry on the handle of yours is incredible!
Dylan, thanks for encouraging my scheduling endeavors.
Dylan and r8shell, I'm enjoying these ebony siblings of the Churchills you have. Little sister is an 09 Esquire, right? What's that big brother?
Thanks, Dean. Both knives were ones I've been after for quite some time, so I should be happy for the 4C-able future (nice alliteration
).
Luscious ligneous pair, Stuart!I really like that big old Clause, although I was surprised to see how high the main rides when closed!
Yowza, Gev!!
Some Case knives for me this week.
Watchpocket Knife of the Week is a Wharncliffe mini copperhead:

Nice group! What is that Boker?Yes, that's an 09 Esquire.
If I'm not mistaken, GEC's equal end/single springs go: #54 Moose>#35 Churchill>#68 Cuban.
Today it's a new Enzo in Birch, the Churchill, and the old Boker that I can't seem to kick out of my pocket for long.

Fight the flu, everybody!
It made me break my New Year Resolution, and it's still January!Very attractive trio Rachel. That Enzo could spark a buying fever in me....![]()

Curly Birch and Scandi baby !! Gorgeous !!It made me break my New Year Resolution, and it's still January!I bought myself one in olive-wood with a flat grind, and after carrying it a few weeks, ordered the Curly Birch scandi-grind version.

Thanks! I found the old Boker at a thrift store, and I can't determine the age (I can't find that exact stamp on my tang stamp charts) Even with the broken and worn blades, the walk and talk are perfect, and it cuts like a sharp cuttin' thing.
I just love the pocket-worn bone, too.

Beautiful picture, Will! That color has so much depth to it, and the jigging is fantastic!
The Birch & Scandi grind make the knife!![]()
Ha! I spent some time agonizing over the decision.Curly Birch and Scandi baby !! Gorgeous !!

Made this cross for my granddaughter's 15th birthday last September. It and a card/check was stolen out of their mailbox, I was livid. Closed that bank account, blah blah blah. Livid. A few months go by and guess what shows up in the mailbox ... yep, the cross and the check. Her card was gone and the stamps used to mail it back to me looked stolen. Addressed without my last name, I can't help but wonder the life this cross has lived in the last few months. What made the thief return it? So many questions come to mind. In any case, it's no longer cursed, and glad to have it back. Made her a replacement already, maybe this one needs to go somewhere else.
Ivory is similar to this fine knife Todd made for me that I'm carrying today.

That's a real sweet looking knife John, and the story regarding the stolen cross makes my mind wonder what went on with it and the person who took it...intriguing stuff, one can only hope that somehow the person came to a better place in their journey through this life, and was trying to make amends for a wrongful path they were on...Made this cross for my granddaughter's 15th birthday last September. What made the thief return it?
Perhaps remorse? Crisis of conscience?
