What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I haven't carried a Railsplitter for a while. Thought I would give this one some pocket time.

I slept with my BWB peanut in my pajama pants pocket last night to make up for it. As far as I know I didn't actually use it though.

All is forgiven.... this time. (Is that a peanut in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?):D

That's a really pretty Railsplitter Rick

My Tidioute #73 helped me with some trail waymarking today

I left the house without any knife today and I've been crazy all day because of it. Can't let that happen tomorrow...

Put a classic on your keys. That way you never leave the house without a knife, you only sometimes experiment with minimalism...

I carried this Scagel Fruitport today. I also had an additional "unmentionable knife on me". ;):D

Very nice Gary!! Would you happen to have a pic of the knife closed? I don't recall seeing one of the wharncliffe fruitports closed and I'm curious about the profile.

Johnny, why do you carry four knives at once?

Well, I have a certain knife for a certain job. My SS #72 is perfect for food prep, while the Bull Nose is great for tearing down boxes and such. The little #56 Dogleg is like a worry stone, the smooth scales are something to play with when I get bored and the little pen blade on this knife is perfect for cleaning under my nails. The #73 on my hip just rides back up, it's hard to even notice, Plus, because it's cold and I wear gloves, I just slip it out of it's holster instead of trying to get into a pocket.

I like knives and I like testing them. I'm not like Jackknife who can get by with one Peanut, I need two or three peanuts before I'm happy.

Also, I live on a farm and you never know when you may need to loan a knife out.

Trand, here is a cell phone shot. This is the first time I've tried this so my apologies in advance if it doesn't work well.

Heh, It didn't work...

That's what I get for trying to be high tech .... Let's try again.

O ok. I was curious. The only time I carry more than one knife is when I go hunting. But different strokes for different folks. You mentioned that the belt knife is great when you have gloves on. The only time traditional knives are inconvient for me is in a situation where I'm wearing gloves and need to cut something. It becomes a real hasel to take my gloves of, reach into my pocket of my wranglers to fumble around opening my blade, all while it's 20 degrees outside. I guess that's what belt knives are for...
