What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

The queen dan burke small barlow today and everyday some times i switch it out with the BF barlow and a case 154cm barn board barlow

That smooth White Bone looks better the more you carry it, very tasteful.

Avoid, are you in Snowdonia by any chance?

Today, I rooted out a neglected knife CASE Saddlehorn (Barehead) in Bonestag. Really well-made knife, never quite got used to the Skinner blade though but it carries nicely.

Hi willgoy. I'm a bit further south, Brecon Beacons:)

Thanks Sam, BB is a really beautiful place, lucky you!

Today it WILL be a CASE Slimline Trapper (nearly wrote Rapper...) there are some apples that need work.....

Regards, Will.

This one today---a 1971 Case 11031SH "Utility Knife" @ least that's what I call it:) My dad recently picked it up @ a garage sale in Mesa and shipped it home to me. This one will hold a sentimental value for just that reason.

My dad does not have a clue as to what is a quality knife is but he took the time to call and describe as best he could what it was---he hit a home run in my book:thumbup:

That is really nice.

I carried my Carl Schlieper Canoe in Stag handles and carbonsteel blade. I think about carrying it the whole week, I think, I gonna post a photo the next days...

Kind regards
Andi

I'm carrying the PW red bone Case SB Gent today. This is a sweet little knife.

I just need to take a new photo to do it some measure of justice.

Ooh aah! That's very interesting. CASE could do with reviving that pattern and nice wood too, Walnut maybe? Looks like a kind of Loomfixer, what a find, what an Oldman:D:thumbup:

Some choice knives here lately, that Cuban Castro of Jenner's is very fine style, loads of it.

Ed, glad to see you are remembering to go out with a knife again.... good option.
Regards, W

Thanks guys for the comments---my dad did good:thumbup: The knife is rock solid and the blade is so utilitarian in use. I'm very happy to say the least:)

Today I have carried this guy. I don't know who the maker was but it has more sentimental value than anything to me as it was among my first knives ever owned if not my very first knife owned. It was from a Pioneer Clubs program at my church when I was pretty young. I don't really remember much about the program other than we got these sweet knives. This one has seen alot of abuse over the years but has somehow managed to stay in one piece. Though, because of the abuse from it's beginning years there is some play in the larger blade but it's not so bad I can't still use it for day to day tasks. I get some weird looks from friends though due to the logo haha.

Paul - that old Case is fantastic. Great pickup by your dad.

And I agree with the sentiment that it would a nice one for Case to bring back from the vault. A single sheepsfoot blade like that is something which would be right up my alley.

This little guy jumped in my pocket on the way out the door.

Today I'm carrying the Teardrop Linerlock version of this. Really nice grippy scales these, I was lucky with this example, the other one I have in BEM is stricken with faults, sigh!:grumpy: When Queen puts out a good one they really do it, but it seems it's a gamble...such a pity.
