Fine knife and a very fine photo composition.
I know your pain! I too have whittled a poop picker or two, and unglamorous task but at least it was done in styleWhittling a tool to pick the feral cat poop from the treads of my daughter's boots, a common occurrence where we live...thanks to the crazy cat lady who lives next door.

James, thanks for the cool binoculars info, and for your supportive remark about my scrimshaw EDC!Thanks GT. The case holds 1963c binoculars, bought new with paper route money. Love the "as always" scrimshaw RR!

Definitely looks like a joy to carry, Stuart!Today, with a tip of the hat to @JB in SC , my Remington Bullet replica carry is the little brother of the R1303 Lock Back that I carried yesterday - a Baby Bullet lock back (R1173L) that was produced by Camillus in 1984. It is much slimmer and lighter than its big brother and a joy to carry. I share my affection for this knife with Jerry's father-in-law, to whom Jerry gave a Baby Bullet years ago. Thanks, Jerry, for giving me a better reason to share this fine knife with the Porch.

Thank you, sir!Yes, GT, that is my only use for the cutout. I have wirestrippers that I would prefer to use for actual wirestripping before I sullied the SAK, which is why its blade cuts cigars so cleanly. (I only have a cigar or two a month so it doesn't get too much work.) Thanks for the kind comments and kudos for your pair today. I appreciate that both the Schrade and the RR have real nail nicks, rather than the slim suggestions of a nick found on some blades.

Thanks!...Btw I always love seeing that scrimshawed stockman of yours.
Wow, what a beautiful Böker, Leslie!View attachment 840888
Something different to carry this weekend. Boker Bog Oak Barlow with Chad Nichols Damascus.
Thanks for the follow-up on your Soldier, Dean. Do you have any idea what range of dates is possible?
The smooth tobacco bone, the acorn shield, the drop point blade are all first-rate, @Bloefield !! How big is that lockback?RR Lockback

Fantastic Black & Tan for Friday, Jack!!
Thanks for the well-wishes for the week, Jack.A new semester started at my school this week, so it's rather hectic for me until figure out what my weekly routine should look like.
I like your attitude about a Three Knife Day for Friday!I think something similar: "What the heck, it's (pick name for any day), I'm going to have a Twelve Knife Day!" (Maybe I also need a 12-step program!
)
That's good to hear, Ron!! Knife Knuts love those severance packages, don't we??Did you get any kind of knife-related retirement gift from you employer or co-workers? I don't expect anything from my employer when I retire at the end of August, but I'm seriously considering getting a Swiss Army 1 something like this for myself

Unique pair, Alan!!I'm guessing you were probably the only person in the universe carrying a mammoth Lloyd and a Lakota Teal both those days!!
Congrats on your new Guardians Lambsfoot, strokednbored !!
I love the "feathering" of your mark side horn cover - reminds me of a clip blade with nail nick!!
Is that a little human figure attached to the ring of your versatile, cool Cadet??
Definitely looks like a joy to carry, Stuart!Maybe some day you can show a photo of the "sibling pair" to compare sizes??
Thank you, sir!I wish I had the self-control to enjoy a cigar or two a month, but I fear that if I started smoking again, I'd soon be back to one or two cigars per day!
Thanks!
Wow, what a beautiful Böker, Leslie!I'm hoping to pick up a Böker Barlow in 2018, but I certainly don't aspire to one like yours!!
Thanks for the follow-up on your Soldier, Dean. Do you have any idea what range of dates is possible?

Very timely observation!!
Snowy and cold today, and expecting 4-6 inches of snow by Sunday night, I think, so I'm going to post some warm-weather photos of the knives I carry independent of my rotation schedule:
