Hi Joshua - it is a lovely wee Bird n Trout I bought a few years ago while at The Durban Easter Knife Show - damasteel and mammoth - it sits there as a static 'edc' that I use as a letter opener on my desk

Made by Bill Burger, who very sadly passed away not long after I met him and purchased this. A most elegant piece I wanted as soon as I saw it.

Bill's daughter Sharon is an expert scrimshaw specialist and did the handle work here on a Loveless Dagger by Neill Schutte...

....something I'd never tote I'm afraid..!

Wow, those are both excellent! One of my sons loves big cats and knives (he takes after me in that one) and would no doubt be drooling over that Loveless dagger. You have fine taste!

Lovely knives, Paul! That B&T is one elegant piece of art! That dagger could almost be a Chute Knife by Schutte!

View attachment 844680 Carrying the ancient ebony today. One of my favorite TCs.

Wasn't sure how I'd feel about the Ancient before I got one, but I have to say it is one of my favorite knives and easily one of my most carried, especially among the TC's. Funny how different my Ebony looks, your's is a beauty, I wouldn't mind checking out the scratted bone after being so impressed with my ebony.

Thank you. I think they were executed perfectly. I am on the hunt for a scratted bone, but havent had any luck securing one.

The Remington (a 1980's re-issue, but not a Bullet replica) that I'm carrying today is a handy item for those of us who are bird hunters, waterfowl or upland. It is an R-2 Waterfowl knife and can handle most any shotgun hunting chores: a Turkish clip blade for gutting/skinning, a serrated sheepfoot blade for cutting wing/leg joints, a choke tube tool (12 and 20 gauges), and a punch for pushing out/in receiver pins. At 4.25" closed, it needs a sturdy pocket, of which my hunting coats have several.
