View attachment 845030 Just added a modified 66, thank you to @Jfowl31 for the excellent work! Also picked up a Northwoods Fayette. I was initially disappointed by missing out on the bone cover versions. However this micarta version has really impressed me, very happy with it.
Nice knife! I bought this one about the same time but mine’s an R-7 Turkey Hunter. Same size and configuration except for the serrated blade. It does take a heavy pocket but it’s handy in the woods. The Remington (a 1980's re-issue, but not a Bullet replica) that I'm carrying today is a handy item for those of us who are bird hunters, waterfowl or upland. It is an R-2 Waterfowl knife and can handle most any shotgun hunting chores: a Turkish clip blade for gutting/skinning, a serrated sheepfoot blade for cutting wing/leg joints, a choke tube tool (12 and 20 gauges), and a punch for pushing out/in receiver pins. At 4.25" closed, it needs a sturdy pocket, of which my hunting coats have several.

This one landed today, I'm quite pleased, I wanted something a little larger than a peanut but not by much and I love the contours of the handle. Both blades arrived with a sharp toothy edge, Case model 6208, this one has a tang stamp date of 2017 so relatively new. And I sharpened her up tonight both blades took an exceptional edge, again, quite pleased

It was an office day today so the Canoe seemed appropriate.
