What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Hi Joshua - it is a lovely wee Bird n Trout I bought a few years ago while at The Durban Easter Knife Show - damasteel and mammoth - it sits there as a static 'edc' that I use as a letter opener on my desk

Made by Bill Burger, who very sadly passed away not long after I met him and purchased this. A most elegant piece I wanted as soon as I saw it.

Exceptional pieces !! Thanks for the look...wow

What lighting ! Man o man don't those beauties shine. That saw cut is the live for ...wow
Thanks Gev! :) Being retired has advantages on the timing for some photos. My back deck faces due east just right for catching some great light as the sun rises over the mountains. :D

The three amigos again today as we cleaned up after yesterdays snowfall. Boy they really hyped it up and it's only 6" or so. Back when I was a kid......:D

That snow blower reminds me of when I was a kid growing up in Chicago , think it was a red craftsman :)
Nice spread of knives Sir

Stellar pair, Tom!!:thumbsup::thumbsup::cool: I've often expressed my admiration for your ebony BSK (and its lanyard), and your Joker is jaw-dropping with its intriguing patina!:cool::cool::thumbsup: Question of the Day in my post: How big is that Joker? ;)

Thanks GT! The joker is a 4 finger knife for me, but I have average hands. I'll take a pic with it next to a ruler. Love the ALOX!

Excellent pair today, Tom!

Cool pic Donn ;)

Thanks a lot Tom, nice combination, I had forgotten about that Joker (I always thought those Beer Scouts were larger) :)

I'm carrying my ebony Lambsfoot today, and thought I'd crash the Joker party (always meant to do a right-up on these great little knives) :D

Thanks Jack! I think it may just be the angle of that photo, but GT has me curious so I am going to measure it lol :). Great pics, I would love to read your write up on these knives.

That dagger is gorgeous, but that scrimshaw is simply amazing, a real work of art.

Carrying my Schatt & Morgan Crimson Bone Railsplitter again this week. I am really liking this knife and how well it carries for its heft.

Something may be arriving in the mail today to move it though!

I love that Crimson Bone! I haven't experienced a Railsplitter yet, but that looks like a solid knife, the color just makes it that much better.

That wood is stunning, really completes that knife in a special way.

Thanks Dylan, fantastic pics!

Thank you, my friend. A terrific pair you have today.

I am going with the Hound Dog and the Lamb today.

Ah there’s that little yellow AG Russell again! Fetching lil gal as always.

They sure do like to hype up the winter snow warnings, don’t they?

Here, it’s OMG! We may beat the old single day snowfall record!

Oh well, I’ll check the oil in the blower while the sun is still out.

There is such beauty in that knife, Gev!:thumbsup:

So little color in these snowy days; I felt the need for red today.

Thank you fine Sir !! And your Lady in Red...remarkable indeed. She would have me spinning like a top too ;):)
