What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

D Duckdog I am really enjoying going on this journey with you as you unpack your Stepfather’s knife collection. The Remingtons were a joy to see!
Ratbert, I thank you and the other Porch dwellers for your indulgence and patience. There are more to come; I will try to make the unpacking interesting, not tedious. Correct me if I stumble.

Not to digress (too much), but here's one of my favorites from a prior posting.

She seems amused by the snow. Admittedly, though, she hasn't played outside too much since we've been here because the temps have been pretty cold. It’s supposed to “warm up” a bit next week, with a few days forecasted in the upper-20s/lower-30s, so hopefully we can take her out and play in the snow a bit more then.

I bet you could do some cool stuff with some sort of needle applicator and a bit of mustard.

I've been carrying/using these three a lot around the house the last few days. (The rest of my knives are one of the last things I have left to unpack, so I've been limited to the few that I kept accessible -- these three, a #15 Crown Lifter and a #15 Farm Boy.)

Nice selection. I've still got Nifebrite Bullnose (O-1 steel). I don't really use it, but I can't bring myself to let it go either. My Hay'n Helper (Nifebrite, O-1) sees plenty of use though. I also carry an Opinel carbone daily too (No. 6). I thought I lost it, but I found it today. It's weird that I was so broken at the thought of losing it, even though they're only $11 and I have an untouched one as a spare. I guess because this one is mine, with a well-earned patina and razor edge I spent hours perfecting.
