Amazing aged knife, Pt-Luso Pt-Luso ! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Solo. So far, I have not found any need for any other blade.
Wow, that's not something I'd have expected from what I thought I knew of your knife habits, Frank! :eek::cool::thumbsup: Quite a testimonial for that knife; vorpal blade?? ;)

5K Qs 5K Qs I was glad to get my grading done and still get to go on a walk outside. I hope yours got done!
Thanks, Joshua. :) I WISH mine got done, but still working on it today and tomorrow.

Decided to pack the Canoe around this Sunday.

Commendable canoe, 315 315 ! :cool::thumbsup:

@waynorth -Charlie, honestly a bit light today, but lemme see... Whoops, forgot 2, so I guess 9-10.;)
Thanks, Neal
Yowza, that's a big number, Neal! :thumbsup::thumbsup: Belt or suspenders?? ;)

Stag and Chocolate milkshakes are definitely two things that I really appreciate! :) To quote our late friend “BigBiscuit” when I first got this Pony Jack, “There is something about the 68 Pony Jack that just feels right Ron! It’s one of my favorite patterns!” :)

Josh that’s a great looking knife, but the BT steals the show for me. I love Boston’s! They have been my families choice for the last twenty five years or so. My daughter has a Brindle female, Zoe! My last one, Max, has been gone since 2013. We had to have him put down for health issues. I cried like a baby! ;) I better move on to the reason I’m posting this evening. My wife had to work today which is rare on a Sunday. I decided to make an attempt at a deep dish pizza. It turned out pretty good but being quite thick I required some assistance in cutting it into bites. Luckily my 73 OO Scout was handy on the end table. We were eating on TV tables and watching the evening news and some of the Olympic Games. :D

Cool post, Ron. :cool::cool::thumbsup: Milkshakes, pizza, dog preferences, and the OO 73 in action!

Thanks, the other blade is a sweet thin pen blade;

I went to an old skool, but we never had knives like those! Grand choices, Jack! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I wasn't sure I'd like the MAM, but since Opinel doesn't make a sheepsfoot, I thought I'd give it a try. I didn't expect it to make its way in to my pocket as much as it does. Usually I only use it at work for breaking down boxes, which it's very good at. Basically, it takes the place of my GEC Hayn' Helper when I don't want to use a nearly irreplaceable favorite for menial tasks. I think I paid $9 for it. I'll probably pick up a spear/drop point one eventually too, to use in place of various carbon steel knives when the monsoon season rolls around.
Thanks for the review of your MAM, Aaron! :cool::)

Have these in my pockets today : Taylors Eye Witness one a Sheepsfoot and the other a Lambfoot...

After I dropped Nancy off at work , I went to check out The Car On The Lake . ...

I think it sunk into the lake last year on Feb. 29 , 2017 .
Harry
Exquisite pair, Harry; thanks for the two TEWs pre-Tuesday, and for the Car on the Lake update! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

It’s been well over a hundred pages since I last visited the daily thread. There are big changes afoot in the pmew household but I thought I might just stop by to prove that I am still here and still flying the flag.

Thanks for the proof, @pmew , and for the pic of that familiar congress! :):thumbsup::cool:

I'm hanging out with a pal today. Specifically, a Pal Cutlery Co. cattle knife who promises to handle any chore that I come up with. Man, Pal (like its parent Utica Cutlery) made fine knives. This knife was made during the 1945-1953 period after Pal had taken over Remington's cutlery production and facilities, and was most likely built on Remington patterns and tools.

Anyway, I'm digging it, and it may cost me the resolution of not buying a knife for myself this year to keep.
Hang in there, Joshua! ;)

Happy Monday, folks.

I have these two with me today.

Thank you my friend :) My old skool was just a stone's throw from where I lived, you could tell that because all the window's were broken! :eek: ;) :D That Half Hawk is a nice pattern GT, and a good-looking knife :thumbsup:

Very nice Ron :) :thumbsup:

Travman Travman ^^^^That is a great looking #74 you’ve got there! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:
Thanks. This one belongs to my brother-in-law. It is on loan to me for a few more weeks. He was having trouble breaking it in because it was to pretty for him to use. So I used it for the day in the kitchen during the Christmas break. He loved the patina and how sharp I was able to get it, so we traded knives until we see each other again at Easter.

Very nice Presidential Northwoods. I thought about getting one when they were available, but I was too new to know exactly what I liked back then.

Hey Ron, two good looking knives there! What is the one on the bottom... it is definitely one of my favorites that I've seen around here, but I'm never quite sure which model that is... stunning!
~Matt
Thanks for the compliment Matt. The bottom knife is a Lambsfoot from A. Wright in Sheffield. This particular one is clad in Ebony. :) Check out the Guardians of the Lambsfoot thread here for lots of great info and photos about the Lambsfoot. :)

Half/Stop Half/Stop Funny thing you carrying two knives today Ron :) So am I :D

Great Stag single-spring you very kindly gave me:cool: paired with an Osage 73 liner-lock. The wood on this certainly has changed colour due to exposure to daylight, started off more yellow, now you can say it's an ochre orange, but you can still see the stripes. A great wood for any knife, hope GEC will use some more.
