Took these 2 Old Friends to the YMCA and coffee with friends this morning . Have not carried them much lately . Mr. Russell & Mr. Oates .

Changed them out for Two TEW's Tuesday for GT .
The darker one is Ox Horn and the other is Rams Horn , both made in 2014.

Beautiful horn barlows, Harry. I've been totin' the moose for a few days, and I'm itching to mod one of the blades into a sheepfoot, but I can't decide which one. I've got plenty of knives with clip and sheepfoot, so I'm leaning towards modding the clip into a sheepfoot to have something different.

I'm hanging out with a pal today. Specifically, a Pal Cutlery Co. cattle knife who promises to handle any chore that I come up with. Man, Pal (like its parent Utica Cutlery) made fine knives. This knife was made during the 1945-1953 period after Pal had taken over Remington's cutlery production and facilities, and was most likely built on Remington patterns and tools.

That bone reminds me of sand at the rivers edge. Nice!

That should be interesting Jeff . Won't it be pretty short ?? I expect you will mark it prior to making the cut or grind and I would hope that you post a picture of the marked up blade . Have fun my friend .
