What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

The pattern I allways seem to return to. Now the smaller one in my pocket.

  1. The ancient TC Barlow show how great the collaboration between GEC and @waynorth can be. Reviving an unbelievable pattern and perfect execution. It’s gonna ride with me today. View attachment 863739

Nicely said Sir :) A beautiful knife

As is that Dean :) What a special knife

Another find my friend brought back for me from the flea market (along with the vintage cast-iron pan) is this I*XL Wostenholm Barlow. It's got a carbon steel blade, and excellent walk and talk, and the absolutely ugliest faux-stag covers I've ever seen.
I'm carrying it today, trying to decide if it's worth trying my hand at replacing them with some wood.

I'll take that challenge! :D ;)

Thank you, Jack. A wonderful combination you are carrying today and with snow! We got so very little this winter, which is rather typical for us, or it used to be. The last couple of winters (discounting this one) had brought a fair amount of ice and snow with them, so we have been wondering if the norm for us was changing...

Thank you, GT! My first pic of the 15 was in sunlight, which I think made the red bone look more brilliant than it actually is. It is darker, more subdued hue, though not at all unpleasant.

I decided to shirk the black today and go over to the light side (for at least a day... ;)). Still rocking the red 15 though.

Thank you my friend, it's certainly changed here. When I was a kid, we got snow every year, now it's unusual - not that anyone has ever been any better prepared! Another lovely pic there

Smashing! :)

Double Lambsfoot Friday  o_O  :D
