What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I was camping in Great Smoky Mountains National Park this past week and my Buck 301 and the Little Brown Book were my faithful companions.
Not as many wildflowers as I was anticipating and trees were yet to green up at the higher elevations. It seems Spring is a little late coming to the mountains this year. Some ugly fire scars around Chimney Tops from the Gatlinburg Fire.
Saw elk, lots of wild turkeys and whitetail deer, but no bears. Heard a good many owls at night.

Totin' light again today.

Valley Forge Cutlery (Newark, NJ) was founded in 1892 and by 1902 was a Boker USA owned company until 1950. This one is from 1916-1950.

That Valley Forge is in amazing shape! Beautiful knife...

(Trying to catch up on this thread after being off the grid for a week might be a hopeless task! )

Yesterday I carried a Rough Rider Yellowhorse Congress, today Im doing it again. It isnt as nice as most of the knives on this thread(seriously, you all have some amazing stuff!) But it makes for a nice whittler, and thats what Ive been using it for. I never thought the congress pattern was for me, but I like it quite a lot as it turns out.

I like a Congress, too.

Today I decided I needed to carry this little Uncle Henry 807UH (USA) small stockman. This is the one that kicked off my current knife kraze. I hadn't bought a traditional knife in over 25 years, then I saw this one in the local store last summer and thought it was so "cute" that I had to have it. I've bought in excess of one knife per month since then! Took me a long time to get it sharp because I wanted to go slow with it; not a lot of steel to work with there. ;) Pat (the owner of the store) said he thought the delrin had faded over the years.

Regarding the hat, I have the hat but not the car...
