Thanks to @Horsewright this is my new daily totin' knife for the foreseeable future. So comfortable at the appendix position. Don't even feel it on me. The small of back sheath will be tried out tomorrow on my wife and I's motorcycle trip. My write up on it is in the "new additions" section.

What are the dimensions? Is this a three-finger knife, or full size?

JTB_5 My sample is just shy of 7 inches long. With 3-3/4"inches from the front of the bolster to the back of the handle. For my hand it is a full four fingers. I wear a medium glove. If a small size glove runs on the large side I can sometimes get into that, if that gives you an idea of the size hand I have.

I saw one like it when I was a kid, but I'm pretty sure mine was predominantly green. I figured the big black spots were fake eyes, though now I think of it, it isn't obvious what good big fake eyes would do you.

It’s a defensive thing to freak out predators.

This one has been in my pocket practically since I got it. Such a great knife. A nice patina is starting to develop, the steel bolsters and liners are starting to dull and darken, the red sawcut is starting to mellow and blend. Couldn't be happier with it.

Thanks, Gev. I bought that teardrop 4 years ago and have probably taken it out a couple times. It is very well made with a flush backspring at all three positions.
