What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

The Kudu is ridiculously large, Dean: 5.75" closed!
Love your shot of Ancient TC in ancient forest.:cool::thumbsup:

Different strokes for different folks - I (and Dean ;)) think the red shield on the navy blue bone makes for one of my most visually appealing knives. ;) Splendid 2-blade Congress, Dean!:cool::thumbsup:

My Free Choice knife this week, inspired by all the posts about big Buck stockman models, is a Chinese Buck 373 (thanks, Randy):

Thanks, Gary, for your comments. I see you are carrying my inspiration today. That is a heavy knife, but well made. :) I have to be in jeans to carry mine.

Once again, I'm carrying my new Tear Drop. This one feels just right in the hand, has good weight and the drop point main is a handy blade.

After work, I am off to the new place to finish up a few projects before the big move this weekend.

Couldn't decide between these work horses, so I'm taking all three.

That's a great trio, Dylan! I particularly like that Nifebrite #99 Farmer Lock!

Good looking canoe. I really like the shield on it!

I'm just getting my gear ready, so I can head out for a hike early in the morning :) Got these set aside ;) Have a great weekend folks

Looks like you were well prepared, Jack. Hope you had a nice hike!

Had to add "the first cigar of the season" shot.

  :D

The crawdads liked my Beer Trapper a bit too much. They got way too defensive when I tried to take it back.

I'm guessing you showed 'em who's boss in the end, though. :D

You could accomplish just about anything with the group of secondary blades.

I've been carrying this old favorite all weekend.

This has become my knife, not my pattern, or my preferred carry of the day, but my knife. Going back to her after carrying my latest Stockman or other clip sheepsfoot combo is like a breath of fresh air.
She instinctively comes out of my watch pocket and without looking I deploy the desired blade for the task at hand, I instinctively place her back in said pocket in the way that that deployment is repeatable.
The shape of the stag fills my hand while remaining light and nimble(as the pattern dictates). The blades are robust with a good geometry for cutting/slicing and a smooth light pull that comes with a well radiused cam tang ending in a solid snap and lockup against a flush spring with either blade. Closing is just as smooth and satisfying.
Sure she has some blade rubs and some “unsightly” cracks in the stag ( I’m pretty sure they are surface cracks and not deep at all) but a more satisfying user I have not found.... yet.
Yep, she’s a beaut..

She is a beauty. The Churchill has become my go-to, too.

Every time I see an Ebony Norfolk in this thread I ask myself, "Why the heck isn't my Norfolk in my pocket right now?!"
I just fixed that!
Great pic HeathH HeathH !

Man, you're not kidding! Every time I pick it up I wonder why it wasn't already in my pocket... great pic, you've got fantastic ebony on yours!

I missed a day, and fell WAY behind with this thread, but it's a public holiday here, and we have our third consecutive day of sunshine - which hasn't been seen in Yorkshire since around 1976, at least ;) - so I'm going to run in here, post my carry, go out, and try and catch up with this thread later! Great knives everyone :)

A.Wright small Lambsfoot and large Stan Shaw Sheepsfoot, both in Sambar
