Me or the knives? Hahaha!A couple of naturally aged American beauties, Alan!
The Kudu is ridiculously large, Dean: 5.75" closed!
Love your shot of Ancient TC in ancient forest.
Different strokes for different folks - I (and Dean) think the red shield on the navy blue bone makes for one of my most visually appealing knives.
Splendid 2-blade Congress, Dean!
My Free Choice knife this week, inspired by all the posts about big Buck stockman models, is a Chinese Buck 373 (thanks, Randy):

Love that term! I too am in a holding pattern, with the aluminum frame Buck 110.Rondeau and I are on cruise control.

Whatever it's called, it is a very appealing knife, Senhor Pinto!!

After work, I am off to the new place to finish up a few projects before the big move this weekend.
Couldn't decide between these work horses, so I'm taking all three.

Had to add "the first cigar of the season" shot.

The crawdads liked my Beer Trapper a bit too much. They got way too defensive when I tried to take it back.

She is a beauty. The Churchill has become my go-to, too. This has become my knife, not my pattern, or my preferred carry of the day, but my knife. Going back to her after carrying my latest Stockman or other clip sheepsfoot combo is like a breath of fresh air.
She instinctively comes out of my watch pocket and without looking I deploy the desired blade for the task at hand, I instinctively place her back in said pocket in the way that that deployment is repeatable.
The shape of the stag fills my hand while remaining light and nimble(as the pattern dictates). The blades are robust with a good geometry for cutting/slicing and a smooth light pull that comes with a well radiused cam tang ending in a solid snap and lockup against a flush spring with either blade. Closing is just as smooth and satisfying.
Sure she has some blade rubs and some “unsightly” cracks in the stag ( I’m pretty sure they are surface cracks and not deep at all) but a more satisfying user I have not found.... yet.
Yep, she’s a beaut..
