What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I found this in a sweatshirt pocket. Thought it was in my sock drawer. EDC for many years of my practical period.

@HeathH & @Peregrin Hey Guys, beautiful Ebony Norfolks!!! Every time I see one period I wonder why my Jigged Bone is not in my pocket! They are an outstanding knife for sure!

Jack Black Jack Black Two lovely Sambars there my friend! Hope your off to a great start on the week!

Travman Travman Nice OO my friend! Very nice grain and character!

I missed yesterday so I'm doubling up this morning! I have my Ebony Lambsfoot along with a new Winchester Black Box pen knife. This pen knife is a hidden gem as far as I'm concerned! I have been trying to pick one up for awhile now! I really lucked out on this one and was at the right place at the right time. :D

View attachment 901329 John Lloyd LC in Richlite, which is a paper based micarta. It's just starting to show some wear. Pull is about an 8, pinchable, very sharp, and built like a tank.

Interesting. What’s your overall opinion of the Richlite? I’ve played some newer guitars that have been made with Richlite fretboards. Overall, I don’t really care for it as fretboard material, but was impressed with how “wood-like” it seemed in general. I can see its use in knife handles as appealing.

This is the only sample I've ever seen. It looks good. The finish is smooth and even. I understand it was originally used in kitchen counter tops, which accounts for its toughness. Overall, it works very well for an EDC knife.

Thanks a lot Ron, today is a public holiday here, so it's pretty much like a Sunday. I'm enjoying the sunshine, but being self-employed, it just means I have to cram 5 days work into 4 days! :D Can't complain though ;) That Penknife is a great new addition my friend, Lambsfoot and a Penknife is an excellent combination in my opinion. Hope your week is going well :)

I seem to always ride the recent release wave and enjoy doing so, but this Churchill just checks the right boxes for me and ends up as a more constant carry:thumbsup:...

Dean and Stuart, I'm suffering sensory overload from your stimulating stag selections!!:thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

The crawdads liked my Beer Trapper a bit too much. They got way too defensive when I tried to take it back.

5K Qs 5K Qs Yes, you're right about the Boy Scout's logo having the Fleur-de-lis (I had to look it up myself, though). Nice call!
As a former assistant scoutmaster of eleven years (and father of an Eagle Scout), yes, it is.

Edited to add: I do like that Colonial electrician. GT. Very nice.
Thanks for the logo confirmation, Joshua & Stuart. :) And thanks for the kind comment on my Colonial electrician, too.

What a great photo  Very mystical.

Thanks, Gary, for your comments. I see you are carrying my inspiration today. That is a heavy knife, but well made. :) I have to be in jeans to carry mine.

Once again, I'm carrying my new Tear Drop. This one feels just right in the hand, has good weight and the drop point main is a handy blade.

Thanks, Dean. :) That red teardrop and spin top look good together!:thumbsup::cool:

I've been carrying his old favorite all weekend.
