What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I take a couple days off to catch some striped bass (caught a few real nice ones, 38" and 40", but didn't have my phone or my traditional EDC to take a pic) and I'm 5 pages behind!!

Just when I think I've seen it all: a bare-headed equal-end jack. Stupendous!

I like that Böker blade etch, and as @r8shell noted, the barehead equal-end Keen Kutter is a revelation! :cool::cool: Fine pair, Stuart! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Sounds good Stuart. Size counts. What'd they weigh? They've been pulling 25-45 pounders from the waters by the Throgs Neck Bridge connecting Queens and the Bronx here.
 
My favorite kind of cooking involves me sitting around and waiting. Gives me time to catch up on motor racing. Got a pork butt smoking away right now; it'll be part of Mother's Day Brunch tomorrow
okay... I can make the drive over here too. Pulled pork sandwiches...must.resist. Crazy enough I am a huge fan of Carolina vinegar-based pull pork. Heresy for a Texas boy but... so what's on the menu at your house?

From scratch crispy hash browns (shredded with green bell pepper, onion, garlic, and a bit of smoked paprika/cayenne), Pulled Pork pseudo-Eggs Benedict (I can't poach an egg, so over easy eggs), bacon, mimosas, and chocolate covered strawberries. The rendered fat from the bacon is what the hash browns and eggs will be cooked in, of course. Hope I don't screw it up! :D
