I never paid much attention to the spey until I picked up the Winchester 3907 whittler. Queen executed the spey on the Black Box knives with such skill and style it made me pay closer attention.

Carried this Schrade Uncle Henry 897UH boating and fishing Saturday, and again on Mother's Day, guess I'll stick with it for a few more days. Didn't realize it until now, but when I compare to my usual Case 18 pattern, the similar 897UH has a pretty substantial Spey blade. OH

That is a great knife. And a great spey. But I just wish it would be a wharncliff to replace either the spey or the pen. I’d seek one out then! Ideally, for me, I’d keep the pen but I know everyone is different

Loving this little ebony 83, but do wish it was stainless for food prep reasons. After 6 hours in the pellet smoker, babybacks were fall off the bone tender.
