What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Older Queen single blade jack. I brought this one out from the dead. When I picked it up someone had used it to pry which resulted in a bent blade an a very loose joint. A little bit of work and now it works and snaps great.

Very nice Sam! Please, what are your thoughts on it?

I'm loving it Kevin, I would have liked a genuine stag one but they're hard to find now! Both scales dish slightly which may not be everyone's cup of tea but make for a comfortable hold with flared ends. Nice texture on both sides. I've lightly sanded a couple of areas where the burning produced an orange line, not a big fan of that but think the orange in the rest of the scales compliments things nicely. The rest of the knife was solid with good lockup and centered blade.

The only slightly disappointment was the shield which has a bit of a gap but given that it's set in textured stag, mustn't grumble:)

Buck 301 for me today... I had to do some dirty jobs, so this was just right. And the GEC #66 had to stay at home.

Sounds like a great one Sam! I like how the stag flares. My burnt stag 73's don't do that. Makes for slimmer carry but much less comfort and control. I don't pefer the un-natural look some areas get from burning either. Yours looks nice to me :)

Great knives guys, I see a lot that I wouldn't mind to have.

I have been enjoying this Big Jack for a while. We lost power the other day and I passed the time by enjoying the stag scales.

It's nice how stag holds the warmth.

I am truly envious of you.

I would love to see the full flat grind come back on the 30x buck series, and i guess its not just me...

I like that rounded smooth bone a lot, makes the peanut feel even slimmer than the chestnut bone model.
