It's easyJack Black . Left leg on the left side, right leg on the right side of the horse. Sit easy with a far away gaze and keep your mind in the middle. Pretty much it.
It doesn't get much better than that!Big fat chicken on the smoker, cup of coffee, and my old Gibson along with a Texas Jack and an Oregon Trapper.
Life is grand.

Your Big Jack deserves to be a Peer of the Knife Realm, @Spaten !![]()
Carrying an ebony 54 Big Jack for this Black Friday.
Thanks for the support, Dean. Thanks, GT. Your Rough Riders are riveting.
Thanks, Stuart, for the Camillus stockman info and for the comments on my knives. Thanks, GT. The design is called molasses & butter, and it certainly looks tasty. The knife is from 1960-1976, and I'm not sure if Camillus was still using the old-style celluloid then. The only way to test for the bad celluloid is burning a piece (it is very combustible) or looking for rust in the metal or shrinkage of the covers. I don't have any of that (yet). The knife is 3 3/8". I like your cadre of carries today, especially the Sabre. I have an affection for them. Kudos.

Still on an old barlow kick - today, an old saw cut bone Keen Kutter...

Karl, whatever you call the day, that pair is like the crowned heads of Europe!...

THANK YOU EVERYONE for your condolences and support. I've been a member here for a spell and it is without a doubt a place of enjoyment and solace for me. Headed home after my step dads funeral and instead of sorrow we (my boys and I) have smiles on our faces remembering a good man. Life full circle as Grandpas great daughter of 7 weeks was in attendance. The circle of life continues
A special knife for a special day.

Monarch of Stag you've got there in that GEC #43, @Leslie Tomville !!
King indeed, Jeff!! Love the staglon!Uncle Henry King Ranch Stockman, mid 1970s. This one, very noticeably, has the belt finished edges.

It's nice to show off your Viscount and Viscountess, Harry, but having a commoner you can count on is even better!
Not the top of the royal hierarchy, Rachel, but that GEC 09, Esquire, is definitely noble!
I swear the most dangerous thing I do with knives is open all the blades to take pic's, Haha.

Yikes! Which blade of the MM set your obviously-royal blood flowing, FBC??...
Totin' the Kutmaster today

@TheFactor , that set-up is fit for a King!

Thanks! No it's the usual clip and pen flavour, I wasn't aware they did a single blade peanut... Interesting!
I'm not aware of a 1-blade RR peanut either, but yours seemed so steady of the scale in that earlier pic (did it have BOTH blades open?).

Ron, the stag on your BF Stag Jack looks like it could have been shed by Bambi's dad, the Great Prince of the Forest, himself!!
Really?
I never used them, but what they did to internet research was the equivalent of the barbarians burning the libraries.
Well, now I know who woke up early Saturday morning to watch a royal wedding!Your Western and your Buck Cadet have a lot of nobility, Steve!
That pair ought to be the Baron and Baroness of Beer Week, Taylor!!And Glenn REALLY improved your RR Improved Muskrat, transforming it from a humble serf to Lord of the Manor!
No apologies necessary, Jack; I hear you've been productively preoccupied!Something to do with that Earl of English Ebony of which you've provided a peek on a peak!
Your Big Jack deserves to be a Peer of the Knife Realm, @Spaten !
Thanks for the support, Dean.My RRs aren't exactly royalty, but the 2 with mismatched covers are almost like 4 knives!
Thanks, Stuart, for the Camillus stockman info and for the comments on my knives. You're a prince!!
King and Queen of Barlows, Wayne!!That Keen Kutter is quintessential Barlow IMHO; I especially like the dark brown sawcut (and 2 blades). The bolster on the Simmons rules! (Is the Simmons connected with the same hardware store that KK was?)
That distinctive dark duo outshines the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, IMHO!Nice pairing, Lance!

Looks like you've been doing some research on the Laurel/Yanni phenomenon!

Wouldn't ya know, it was that dang spey!I think it got jealous of all the praising I gave the Winchester Black Box speys. haha
You will notice, I just left the spey alone after it bit me.
I switched it up to a single blade Sodbuster today....Less problems that way.
