My second knife from local knifemaker and friend @autogateman Action on this thing is nearly perfect! If you felt it, you’d never guess it was the second slip joint he’s made (not counting some practice learning experiences lol!). I can’t wait to get One to match the fixed he made me lol.

Check out the backspring fit. And almost perfect in all 3 positions!

Nice sunny day here today! Even got some outdoor chores done. Hope everyone is having a good Monday.
These two today. The Back Pocket just arrived today. It's in my back pocket. It's HUGE (the Lloyd shadow is 4" long) but the 154CM blade and the rest of the knife is just great!

LOL...that was a picture from the first gathering on April 22. I had not driven that route since then and did not think there would be any berries left. Boy was I wrong ! That is a full month of production and more ! It was raining so hard when I left I did not want to risk the camera. I missed some spectacular photographs; both weather and wildlife. Happens every time ;):)

I was going to say this was an old photo but got caught up in the story telling :) My bad

The patch runs 200 yards down this fence line

Up here, we’re more than a month behind on the berries.
Gathering black raspberries is one of the loves I acquired from my grandparents on Mom’s side. She taught me a lot of things, like butchering my own deer, and plucking chickens (yuk). One thing I did not acquire was her almost alchemy like skill at making jams and jellies. I freeze mine after shaking bugs and debris out. Never wash them before freezing, or they freeze into a solid lump and turn to mush when you thaw them.

Thanks for making me jealous!

I just took these out of the mailbox and had to post photographs. These knives are amazing! Perfect fit and finish. Very strong but manageable pull with incredible snap. The muscle bone has incredible texture and color. I know these are not for everyone, but everyone should have a chance to check one out at least once. I have never seen anything like them and like it much more than I thought I would. I can see myself using and carrying one of these. Now which one to keep?

The top one. Bottom one, the lower left pin falling in the deeper farrow just doesn’t appeal to me lol. Both are great though! I still haven’t figured out why that pattern is, though.

Thanks, Dylan, for the Spanish stag support. :) Quite a notable pair of ebony equal-enders you're toting!:cool::thumbsup: What model is the big one?

My apologies, GT, I missed this. Been a rather busy weekend. That big one is a #53 Moose, a pretty great working knife.

I had this trio over the weekend and into today. These knives can handle anything really.

Whichever one you don't keep, send me the other one so I can check it out at least once. Then I'll send it back to you whenever you like! :D
