What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Amazingly, the blackberries were bountiful by my tree. I did not gather any this time. There was a light rain, it had been a deluge all day, but the clouds held back as I arrived. I jumped out not knowing what to expect and to my surprise ....look at them all !! The clouds were thick and low, ominous, the rain steady but very light, the air cool and breezy, the moment ...perfection. I mindfully ate while taking in the wondrous -ness of each moment...the tree, the vast expanses of grass and field, the black and low cloud banks, the wet cool breeze and rain against my skin, the taste of each berry..the red, the small, the great big ones. All time bound awareness ceased...

How about some blueberries Gevonovich Gevonovich ? Great photo of a great horseman’s knife Gev. You have a great way of putting things, like a philosopher. I am afraid that I just scarfed down my blueberries in a vey unmindful way. By the way, I would not eat too many red ones!

SVTFreak SVTFreak Yes this is my 43. They took very good care of me. I have learned that you just cannot let these 43’s slam shut. If you just let them down easy you will have no problems.

Misplaced Hillbilly Misplaced Hillbilly Now I am off to hunt mushrooms! Just kidding. If it makes you feel better, I just snapped the photographs on my way out to work.

Great photo, Gev. My favorite Stockman, bar none.:thumbsup:

Very nice. I like those Case USA Series knives. I've been thinking of getting the Sowbelly.

Thanks, Ed. I think the Case USA flag knives are an interesting design. I say 'Go for it.'

Sunny weather here, but I've not seen much of it. Hoping to get out of the house for an hour or two today! Hope everyone is having a great weekend

Fantastic Lambsfoot(s), Jack! Looks like you've almost cornered the market. :)

Davison 1054 today at work with me . My first custom. Such a great knife. Second pic just looks cool with the sun on the orange.

You are on the right track with that Davison! The color is superb and, of course, the knife is perfection.:thumbsup:

Cloudy Sunday carry...

Poetically described and beautifully illustrated, the knife and its retinue are tasty in different ways, Gev!!:thumbsup:

I had a very early start today, but the Scratted Ancient TC has been my stalwart companion.

Thanks, Dean!
It's a great little knife, my neighbor gave it to me just a couple of months before he died. It's one of my center pieces for sure.

Here's my Sunday post of the 4 knives I always carry:

That's a quality quotidian quartet, GT.

I switched it up to a single blade Sodbuster today

A Country Cousin by any other name is still a very fine sodbuster.

Vic Electrician

My favorite cigar clipper, Jack. Love that knife.

So the ones in the picture gathered themselves and rolled home with you? I may have been born at night, but it wasn't last night, Gev.

Leslie Tomville Leslie Tomville Beautiful picture, Leslie, as always. Thanks.

LOL...that was a picture from the first gathering on April 22. I had not driven that route since then and did not think there would be any berries left. Boy was I wrong ! That is a full month of production and more ! It was raining so hard when I left I did not want to risk the camera. I missed some spectacular photographs; both weather and wildlife. Happens every time ;):)

I was going to say this was an old photo but got caught up in the story telling :) My bad

The patch runs 200 yards down this fence line
