The 47 is a great pattern, and that is a fine example! Definitely pocket worthy...View attachment 947352
I've been totin this Case stockman pretty much every day sinc it arrived in my mailbox, 6347 SS, it cuts what I need cut, is slim in the pocket with easy pulls, and is relatively sharp, sharp enough anyways for most tasks required. It doesn't mind getting soaked in sweat on my daily bicycle rides, so rust is not a problem. Not the first time that I carried a stockman pattern for a length of time, but it has been a while, and I realize again the beauty of having three different blades in one small package to cover the bases. I am really digging this particular Case knife...
Great looking knife! I have the 6318 SS (medium stockman), and love it. Think I'll pick up the larger one too.View attachment 947352

thanks, I agree, this one was picked up on a lark, and as soon as I had it in hand it kind of spoke to me...some knives are like that, they just kind of " fit", if you know what I mean. The 47 is a great pattern, and that is a fine example! Definitely pocket worthy...
to me, this particular pattern is what fits into my " peanut" realm, it is slim, and unobtrusive in the pocket and hand, ( I have large hands) I fumble and wind up cutting myself with knives as diminutive as the peanut, so for me, frames like this one fit that bill nicely.Great looking knife! I have the 6318 SS (medium stockman), and love it. Think I'll pick up the larger one too.
Man, that sure looks sweet, I got on the reserve then removed it...maybe time to rethink that one...Tomorrow’s carry fresh out of the tube

I’m very happy with this one . Fit and finish is top notch and I have a feeling they all will be with this run .Man, that sure looks sweet, I got on the reserve then removed it...maybe time to rethink that one...
Beauty! Like traveling back in time.
All around great knife, Stuart. The bone jigging is superb, the condition is top-notch and the file work completes the package. I have an Ulster Dwight Divine & Sons Scout that has the same kind of file work.
Truly remarkable
Despite having all those blades they lie low, very pretty bone jigging and colour- I like those light toffee colours you don't see that much on new knives more's the pity. Then all steel or nickel silver construction with the coined bolsters as whipped creamFine knife, we're lucky to see it and you're not so unlucky to own it either
