These two took up quite a bit of real estate in my pocket today, but were worth bulk.
I love that big Soddy, and my small ones see regular use as well, but wish there was an in between version around the 4"-4 1/8" mark.

Hey Nathan,

I'm in New Smyrna. I may go a little further to Miami to visit my brother but he has work and its up in the air. My girl has off from teaching for the week so we took a week :)

Cool, not my neck of the woods but I used to spend a good amount of time in Deland which is just on the other side of the interstate from New Smyrna. They've got a neat old downtown area and a GREAT local pub if you like microbrews, it's called the Abbey. Enjoy your trip man

The peanut, of course. But it has a new friend in the pocket today.

This A.W. Wadsworth & Son sleeveboard pen knife arrived in today's mail from Jake. I immediately fell in love with it, and can see it giving the peanut serious competition on days when I can only carry one.

The timing of its arrival (bought it last week) was ideal since I just had to post for sale my three most recently purchased knives due to my car's engine biting the dust. This little guy helps ease the pain of having to say goodbye to others . . . well not much, but a little.

Not the sharpest photos, but I wanted to get a couple pics while I had a few moments between tasks.

While outside, one of our cats joined me. I thought, "Aha-- a way to add some live diversity to my knife photographs."

Except, he wouldn't hold still.

Not what I had in mind:

Also not the intended effect:

Then, he became still!

Uhhhh, very still:

Perhaps I shall stick with still life.

lol cute cat! :p

Got my 2011 forum knife as always...next week though I may have a heap of old folders, found a antique store with a box full and they only have a couple dollars on some with full blades. Will likely make an offer to take all of them. :D

Kool Kat alright:cool::D:thumbup:

Is that yellow shrub Forsythia? A favourite of mine.

Today Queen Cutlery Heritage single blade Clip in Ebony. A very good knife, if Queen had made a few changes e.g. Much thinner spring and blade and much thicker rounded scales, this thing would be mythical. As it is, it's a rewarding carry.

Regards, Will

Ive been away or the last two days, and have been carrying my GEC Bladeforums 2011 EO...man I love that knife!, totally broke in now and it just looks great! ( slightly older photo shown)

This one arrived today, really pleased. Flawless and sharp. My belt now has a couple of extra holes (well, you never know:)).

Today this one:
Fallkniven TK3 jigged bone
It's not completely traditional but...

As you can see the fit and finish goes to almost a custom level, but the price goes near too. Totally worthy in my opinion,
See you,
