What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Me too!

Kudos to GEC for working with it though because it looks like it comes in all shapes and sizes, similar to stag in that respect.

Toolin' around the house with my SBJ, and doing some whittling.

My first Ball In Cage. First real whittling project actually. It's not finished, gotta shape/downsize the ball a bit as it gets hung up on certain parts. Also gotta clean up the cage obviously.

Thank you for posting this ball in a cage. When I have time, I gonna try it out also... Which wood do you use?

Kind regards
Andi

My SBJ again today as I've been whittling again.

WOW. is that their smooth bone, or what? Really breathtaking scales on that one.

It's their primitive bone, the shield side is more typical but it was this scale that sold the knife to me:)

Some hungry birds round your neck of the woods Stu? Nicely captured Forum knife.

Used the Ivory Fruitport today to cut a couple cigars my brother and I sat and smoked on the beach. Worked like a charm.

These two relatives are both with me today. Just guessing at dates here from what little info. I have dug up, but the mid 1930s Wadsworth and the mid 1960s Camillus were produced in factories in Germany and New York, both owned by the Kastor family.
