What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I salute your Patriot.

Thanks for the salute Stuart, much appreciated :). Gorgeous Primble too

Tom, it is so good to see you back. I was just thinking the other day that I have been missing your daily knife combos and was hoping all was well. Glad to see you are still alive and kicking and that your taste in knives has not changed. ;)

I have these two with me today for Black Friday.

Thanks for the welcome home Dylan. All is well, I am still a 2 knives per day kind of guy :), still searching for the perfect pocket EDC fixed blade. Fantastic pic, I am alternating between staring at the knives and the stream in the background ;).

Decided to carry these 2 TEW Barlows today . I bought them late in 2014 when I could not find any other new Barlows to buy and have carried them rarely since . I think they are made pretty well but maybe not as well as a GEC .
The dark one is Oxhorn and the lighter one is Ramshorn .

purposefully left hot sauce and tomato juices on the blade bout 20 minutes, she's starting to look a LOT better. Many may have read the sad saga of just prior to my ownership someone used like 400-500 grit paper to "shine it up" for an estate sale. Rebuilding a patina on a grand ol girl like this is something one shouldn't have to do.

Beautiful Wharncliffe Stuart :)

Thanks, Jack.

Case seahorse doing some house work.

That's a fine looking Case. 5K Qs 5K Qs Q, now I see what you were asking about after I posted the Camillus Wharncliffe. I still don't know if there is any connection, but I understand better.

Your Primble is a beauty my friend! :)

Gorgeous!

Stuart, you constantly amaze us with outstanding oldies! Wonderful EJ!

Thanks for the salute Stuart, much appreciated :). Gorgeous Primble too

Thanks to all y'all for the blush inducing compliment. Of course, the knife is doing all of the hard work, not me.

Sorry for the same picture but its the only oldy i have right now.

No apologies needed, a lot of us can't make new pictures each time we post AND we all started somewhere. You're on the right footing with that Case.

Just curious, buy M.O.T.S are you pergper referring to mother of toilet seat ?
I've heard old imitation pearl referred to as this before but not often.
Yep. :D
Various plastics or celluloid have been used on guitars, guitar picks, toilet seats, etc. So the term "mother of toilet seat" is a humorous term sometimes used to describe the pearly look.

Have fun and good luck.

Sorry, no pics because I forgot a waterproof bag for the camera...
Good thing I didn’t risk it, because in the first stretch I fished, I got in up to my neck.
Drove a few mile upstream and waded about a mile to a little stretch I know where there’s this cutbank that the smallies hang out in. A 161/2” and an 18” were the biggest I caught and released. Quite a treat on ultralight gear.
So it was a great day playing hooky!

Smallies that sized are nice and normally put up a great fight and a lot of fun . Wish I had been there too .

I'd better post a couple more of my knives for this week before I head for bed.
My Big Knife of the Week (that could have also been my International Knife of the Week, but the Joker I posted yesterday had that honor) is a Portuguese MAM Iberica:

My Stag/Horn Knife of the Week is a Colt stag muskrat:

My Lambsfoot of the Week is the rosewood model I've named "Union Jack":

I have several MOTS covered knives, but your Imperial is pretty special, r8shell.

That is a handsome 'skrat, GT.

This Rough Rider whittler in the watch pocket, handy little folder

Gary, I'll go with a "handy little folder" anytime and every time. BTW, I just picked up a new pair of Kirkland jeans (I went that emporium to buy my wife some wine and saw a hole in the Kirkland jeans that I was wearing) - they have a very adequate watch/coin pocket, one of the best I've found.
