Very nice sir :)

Yours may cost more but I don't know if it could be better.

Lovely knife, and a very interesting blade

Hope everyone has a great weekend :) I'm toting these two :)

purposefully left hot sauce and tomato juices on the blade bout 20 minutes, she's starting to look a LOT better. Many may have read the sad saga of just prior to my ownership someone used like 400-500 grit paper to "shine it up" for an estate sale. Rebuilding a patina on a grand ol girl like this is something one shouldn't have to do.
MH, love that old boy! I’d be proud to carry it.

I have also bought a couple that had unfortunately been fluffed ‘n buffed. It is a sign of a Fool With A Tool, but once in a great while, if they haven’t buffed the tang stamp right off, you might get a good deal ~as long as you’re a user like me, and not a serious collector.

Today, gonna tote Tidiute and Schrade Walden.View attachment 954593View attachment 954594

Pena in pre-ban unobtainium … no matter how hard I look, can't find a flaw on this knife. ETA pilot was my first mechanical auto watch, not real accurate, but looks good and has a see-thru back. Have a great weekend!

Fortunately it wasn't buffed to death on a wheel. Just looks like they held the blade pinched in some sand paper, and rubbed it. Left quite a few scuff marks, but didn't get onto the tangs, and the grinds around the swedges are still good. I hated the scuff marks, so I put an worn piece of 800 grit on a flat smooth surface and SLOWLY worked most of them out. Finished with a pretty worn piece of 1500 grit. I figured someone already destroyed the original patina, I just wanted to get most of the scuffs off. You can still read the blade etch when the light hits it right.
