What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Now I'm inspired. A pocket full of options:

I count one spey, one pen, one sheepsfoot, one screwdriver, one nail file, one pair of scissors, two toothpicks (wink), one pair of tweezers, one scale scraper, one caplifter, one hook disgorger, one hawkbill, and two clips.

Don't forget the key ring on the SAK (considered one of the "functions")!

That green bone looks awesome!

Beautiful knife. I really like slim trappers, they are among my absolute favorites. And thanks for the short history lesson too.

Some beautiful, elegant lines on that one. I really like the single blade trappers.:thumbsup:

Thanks, guys. I'm totin' the trapper to my favorite local establishment for some quaffing and conversation as soon as I log off. See ya later.

I've been playin' with this ebony #85 today. I reshaped both blades on my belt sander to suit my needs after finding it in good used condition on the exchange. Perfect 6 pulls and excellent snap and action on both clip and pen. On the clip master I took off some of the "peak" of the clip to make it more pocket and hand friendly, and also reduced the belly to a more gradual, less tanto profile. The pen I took down to a coping, to have a straight-edged secondary. This one came "pre-patinated" and is ready for the pocket!

Ok, I have to ask, what on earth is that in the background?

I had to Google that one myself, its supposed to be a representation of "evil" according to the wiki,
"I was doing the picture of the pregnant woman for the cover and the day I finished, Miles called me up and said, 'I want a picture of life on one side and evil on the other.' And all he mentioned was a toad. Then next to me was a copy of Time Magazine which had J. Edgar Hoover on the cover, and he just looked like a toad. I told Miles I found the toad."
So I guess it's an evil transgender Hoover toad o_O
