What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Simply beautiful! I love seeing that one!!

I'll tote this 25 drop point today for Stag Saturday! Enjoy your weekend everyone!

You got a rare one there! Is it serialized? Very lucky to have my stag 25 Drop-Point, I can't see me parting with it. Just can't understand why GEC didn't do more Drop-Points? It's the best blade for this frame by a long chalk.

Thanks, Will

I've never handled a drop point #25 in person, so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but I've always though it just looked a little odd on that pattern. My favorite blade shape on the #25 is the spearpoint. (Not that I wouldn't pick up a drop point #25 if presented with the opportunity, if only to see what folks like about it so much.)

Everyone is toting really great knives today! I haven’t carried this one in a couple years or more and it feels new to me. I really liked it and still do, but pocketed it a handful of times at most and now I wonder why. Size is perfect. I don’t have that many GEC’s but this one has the best F/F. Quite a few of my GEC’s springs are a hair proud at half stops. This one is flush all the way.

Interesting! Well, I've got them in Spear (long pull or nick) Clip, and Sheepfoot so I'm only missing the Wharncliffe version but I still like the Drop best of all, I'm a fan of the blade anyway but I like the proportions on this frame. Obviously GEC agrees with you about this one :D;)

Well a week with Buck went well, now its Rough Rider's turn. With 2 exceptions this time, I always carry an electrician, I don't have a RR electrician which means one my others. And I wanted to stay with a 3 knife theme, a regular slipjoint, a locking slipjoint, and a fixed. So for lack of a RR fixed blade the steel warrior will do. I honestly forgot I had this one. "Rediscovered" in a box in the closet:rolleyes:
Looks Christmas-y!

Hey, Will! Thanks for the compliments, my friend! It was yours that sent me looking for one. Looked for years, literally. If not for Alan's help, generous nature and looking out for a friend, I would still be looking!
Mine is not serialized, is yours?
I prefer the drop point in most of my user knives so no surprise I like it as much as you in the 25. I have to think they will get back to it, eventually.
