Lovely Stuart
Thanks, Jack, and your nicely framed knives are on the money.
Man, that's nice!!
Thanks Jack, so do I!

These two for me today.
You have a pair of classics with you, Ron, and mighty nice looking ones at that.
It's almost October and high temperatures won't get above mid 80s this weekend. Fall is in the air!
A lovely pair, r8shell. I was taught to respect my elders, so my middle-age Böker trapper gives a nod to your handsome older stockman. (The Wright is alright, too.)
Honoring the Friday tradition of black knives...
Good looking pair, Jeff. I let the tradition slip in my carry selection, but I'll post this in solidarity with you:
You brightened my day, Steve. Thanks.
1977 3 dot Case lockback with what I assume is residue from a price tag way back when and a John Lloyd micarta zulu.

You could be correct on the tag theory, Alan, though there is a similar "ghost" image at the bolster, so maybe there's a pattern. Regardless, both are beauties and well portrayed.
What a pleasant picture to see. It honors the knife and rewards the viewer. Well done!
I never carry this GEC Bird & Trout because I find the factory sheath to be horrendous, but I found a sheath in my pile o' sheaths that fits it well enough. So, I decided to have it tag along for the day. The thinness of the knife and sheath allow for a very comfortable pocket carry. Love the acorn shield, tortoise shell acrylic, and the patina.
That is a fine looking knife, Shawn, as the patina complements the tortoise shell handle. I might be a bit leery using such a smooth handled (and guard-less) knife cleaning fish or fowl, but I sure as heck would carry it proudly.
This sodbuster junior arrived yesterday. I’ll admit that at first I found the black blade hideous, it looked much more grey in the pictures online. But it is growing on me now. I really like the bone scales, and it feels heavier than the plastic version. The edge is really rough, but I’ll fix that this weekend. Happy Friday!
Boy, I hadn't seen that version of the SBJr, Tom. That's pretty sweet. Thanks for showing it.
