What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I took mine with me the other day on a fishing trip...have to agree about the sheath. I need to find something better as well. Your patina is coming along nicely :)

Thanks, y'all. Stuart, I've mainly used it as a steak knife at home, and I can tell you when washing it with soap and water in the sink, it certainly becomes a slippery, squirmy little guy. I don't think this guy will ever see the inside of fish or fowl, so the sink is the most dangerous place for me. :D

waverave waverave did you find the tortoise shell acrylic a bit slippery?

Thanks @JB in SC for selling me an oily creek bone 14 in true porch fashion. Love the bone and shield.

Macro lens reveals the fine work for such a small shield on textured bone. Like that it's slightly recessed, won't snag.

Stunning photo, Alan, of those beautiful knives!:thumbsup:

Going light today, so I'm totin' this Böker 93 slim trapper (1960-1970) in my pocket. The sun is finally out for a while (or so it is predicted), but I'm keeping rubber boots at hand.
