Dandy dark trio, Jeff!:thumbsup::thumbsup: (But I have to admit I've never handled one of those big, modern style of SAK.)

Thanks for the info, Gary. I really like the unique style , it looks like I am going to need to pick one up and give it a go.
I think you'll like it! :cool::thumbsup:;)

Sorry for the poor photo. Black micarta 15 and Lannier today.

5K Qs 5K Qs Should I give the Lannier a name? Your names are always good. What about "Holy Toledo"?
Thanks for the kind word, but I don't name the vast majority of my knives; it's only a little game I have for my lambsfoots! :) But if you want to name your Lannier, "Holy Toledo" sure works for me!:thumbsup: (I like "Bob", too, but that's an old, bad Detroit Pistons reference.)

You've only just retired... alas ... already going to the dogs... :( o_O  :D

:D Going to the dogs is right, Dwight. My wife said retiring doesn't apply to livestock care. ;) Cool Moore Maker :thumbsup:; that's a brand I've never seen in person. I wonder if some brands are quite regional.

That is a very handsome canoe, GT, I like the Autumn color theme.
...
Thanks, John. :) I really like the golf ball dimple jigging on my little Klaas canoe.:thumbsup:

...
Sorry GT I can’t explain why either but my pics are now the blue boxes you see. I use photobucket to post pics and all I know is that the site has been down since yesterday evening.:(:poop::poop::poop:
That explains it well enough for me, Nick.:thumbsup: I noticed that some of the blue boxes were "clickable", and when I clicked them, a new pbucket tab would open but never finish loading.

Me like the Schatt GT, very nice!!
...
I lake that Schatt & Morgan, GT. Very nice.

Gary, the S&M is more than miscellaneous! More like spectacular.
And thanks once again for your kind comments about my users!;)
Thanks for the positive reactions to my S&M, Nick & Stuart & Jeff. :) The ebony/silver combo is very distinguished to me, I like the big federal shield, the rounded bolsters on the equal-end pattern is killer, and a spearpoint is my favorite blade! To top it off, the generosity of @mrknife !:thumbsup::cool:

Presidential, Ken? Those sure look like they'd be amazing knives!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

...
Thank you for the info my friend, and for the compliment :) I might give them a try - though I think mine might have to stretch a good deal more than your own!  :D
...
Very nice GT :) I hope you still have all your fingers with that Kudu! ;)
...
Double black for me today :) Technology has stressed me out today, so I am looking forward to having a beer this evening  ...

I'm happy with the switch from belt to braces, although belts are easier to put on for me.
There certainly was a learning curve for me regards closing the Kudu, and my fingers were indeed at risk!:D I managed to come out with a pair of fives, so all's well...
I hope you can shake off the tech stress; maybe you should change your name to Jack Double Black to reflect your knife and drink choices! :D:thumbsup:

Thanks GT, yes single spring

Sweet, Dave!:thumbsup::cool: That's one of the buffalo horn, copper-bolstered RRs, right? Copper Ridge series?

Are two sheepfoots called sheepfeet? I'm totin' a Queen model 32 large congress from 1958-1960.

That's an intriguing pattern, Dave!:thumbsup::cool: I should put it on my "watch list". :)

Excellent english knife, I really like...
Thanks, Senhor Pinto! :)

Here are a couple of my knives that I ALWAYS carry.

It's weird how we make decisions on our carry patterns. I'll carry a custom but not a $25 Case because its special to me or search for a particular knife to carry and then only carry it but never use it.
If we were logical about it, we'd just pick one knife and use it every day. Where's the fun in that? ;)
These jigged chestnut bone CV SBJs make us do strange things. o_O Earlier this year I was fortunate enough to find one (a 2009) and knowing how prized they are I bought it. It's a great knife and, in fact, it's in my pocket now. But... a while after that I found another 2009 in another store. Despite my insisting that I only buy knives to carry, I bought that one also, put a thin coat of mineral oil on the blades, and put it back in the box as a "backup" SBJ. So far it's my only "safe queen".
That's not a safe queen, that's a spare. :D
Those are both great knives! Your 130+ year old MOP is fantastic!

I just got an SBJ in chestnut, but I guess they don't make those two bladed anymore. I'll bet it is more substantial in hand.
Thanks! I haven't handled the single blade version, but I figured it would be rather thin, especially on such a small knife. On the other hand, the new GEC #14s seem popular. (I'm waiting for the two bladers to come out)

Of course I am carrying some Stag today while cleaning up the garage and cracking some Hickory Nuts . Nancy makes some great cookies with the nut meat in them . We have about 5 Gallon more to crack . Northfield 73 in Stag and Taylors Eye Witness Lambfoot . Two of my favorite knives .

Sweet, Dave!:thumbsup::cool: That's one of the buffalo horn, copper-bolstered RRs, right? Copper Ridge series?
Yes, it is GT, they are pretty nice looking little fellas. The only drawback is because of the clawed texture of the scales, if the pin is placed on the ridge it is standing proud.

I had these two with me at a fun family reunion today. The Pioneer X turned out to be the belle of the ball, as no one thought to bring a bottle opener . I may have converted a couple of people into SAK fans today.

And my aunt sent me home with a plate of leftovers for dinner :).
