What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

D Duckdog Thanks Stuart,
Unfortunately that particular screw has devoted itself to a team of like minded screws who have committed to supporting an exterior door:thumbsup: So in its place I submit a photo of the Imperial electrician performing surgery upon another classic traditional knife I often use (GRAPHIC CONTENT WARNING: Some viewers may find the following image disturbing, due to visible "guts")

I'm not disturbed. :D I saw the insides of my matt-knife many a time. They were required supplies for high school art class, so everyone had them. Times sure have changed, and I don't know how they teach art in public schools nowadays. Using safety scissors?

A couple of treasures from merry old England:

Peregrin Peregrin cool little anvil Gary
Thanks, Jerry. My Father in Law was a Blacksmith on the NY Central Railroad back in the day. It's one of a number of tools and other items that he made when the shop was slow. The anvil was made as a miniature and once included a tiny hammer and tongs.

Good to see it again Gary. I'm still looking.
Carrying these two today. The Lloyd sowbelly has been a mainstay since it arrived usually paired with a larger blade although it does fine by itself
Thanks, Alan. I know they pop up on occasion.
I really like that Sowbelly!

That paper indicates that I have a LOOONG way to go on my sharpening skills, Tom!:( Impressive work on the edge of your Lionsteel!:thumbsup::cool:

Thanks GT! I am no expert sharpener, but have learned a lot from this forum. The best lessons have been to slooooooww down and be patient :). Couple of very nice carries you have there

In the low 40's when I started out this morning, and supposed to rain all day. So I grabbed some colorful choices to keep me company :). Happy Friday!

Peregrin Peregrin I seem to recall you mentioning that some time back, my Dad was in the 721st Railway Battalion in WWII that was made up primarily of New York Central men. He worked for a local line in Georgia prior to the war.

Thanks Jack! I don’t know how I missed that bone shadow pen you posted on Wednesday, it’s sweeeeeet! Excited to see more of your penknives.

D Duckdog Another beauty Queen Stuart!!

Camillus and Utica in my pockets today.

Thanks Nick, I'll be sure to pocket another penknife soon :) That's a lovely pair you have there, two of my favourite patterns

Been a bit of a spell since I have posted my daily "tote" here. The last few weeks have been rather hectic and busy with deadlines and such that require attention.

I have largely had these two with me, with maybe a random alternative here and there but I just haven't had the time to contemplate my daily carries. These two always perform admirably.
