Thank you Dave. I just can't decide, chain? no chain? I must have had the chain on and off a dozen times:eek:
When I first started collecting knives, I made lanyards for everyone that had a place to attach :p Being fickle I didn't like the feel after a while, so now the only one that still has a lanyard is a Grohman. :rolleyes:

Wonderful is an apt description of the baseball Tinker! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup: How is that book?
It's alright--light reading. Like most books about baseball. Some of my favorites: "The Boys of Summer"; "Summer of '49"; "56: Joe Dimaggio and the Last Magic Number in Sports" (should appeal to you!); anything by Yogi; and "Driving Mr. Yogi."
Need to find a book about the 1984 Detroit Tigers: that was a good year for baseball.

Swayback Jack today.

Nice pic Dean :) :thumbsup:

Short break between rain storms, so I'm trimming the herb garden. :D

I forgot you had that Hess Rachel, good-looking knife :) :thumbsup:

Stylish twosome Joshua :thumbsup:

Cheers PJ, and a belated Happy Birthday :) :thumbsup:

A Primble scout and a city knife with me today, hope everyone is having a fine weekend so far.

Excellent pairing there Tom :thumbsup:

Senescence or rejuvenation ...that is the question

Quality Gev :) :thumbsup:

It was well worth the wait to see those two, Jack. Thanks for showing them amid the obstacles.

Thanks a lot Stuart :) :thumbsup:

This old thing for Stag Saturday

Harry

Handsome stag Harry :thumbsup:

These 2 on me today.

Lovely pairing Nick :thumbsup:

Thanks, Jack. :) Sorry to hear that your connectivity conundrum continues. :(

Two worthy tools, Jack! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

This is the second to the last week of my 38-week rotation schedule, and I don't remember doing this intentionally, but there were a BUNCH of my prized Case CV chestnut jigged bone knives on the schedule this week.
Stockman was a sowbelly (thanks, Ron), and one of my EDCs is a Sodbuster Jr (from BigBiscuit GAW):

Thanks for the kind words my friend :) That is a stellar Case CV chestnut jigged bone line-up there :) :thumbsup:

Hope everyone is having a great weekend :) The weather is wet and miserable here I'm afraid, cheering my pockets up with these two ;) :thumbsup:

IMHO, Imperials are imperative, David! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Thanks for the canoe commendations, Spaten Spaten . :) The stag 78 is definitely "dressy" :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:, and Jeff has some wise romantic advice for knife knuts in his quote! ;):cool::thumbsup:

That knife looks magnificent, Taylor, and the patina on both blades and brass is the reason why! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

I'm biased, of course, but I'm quite sure EVERY day is National Canoe Day, John! :p:thumbsup::D
That 14 looks like it's doing a commendable job keeping you fed properly! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Thanks for your opinions, PJohn. Sounds like you have well-laid plans for the future, too! ;):cool::thumbsup:

Thanks for all the encouragement, Stuart. :) You're swiftly becoming master of the multi quote!! :thumbsup::thumbsup:;)
"Envy, get thee behind me!" should probably be tattooed on the back of my hand where I can see it as I use my laptop to visit The Porch. :rolleyes:

Grand old knife, Gev! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks, Jack. :) Sorry to hear that your connectivity conundrum continues. :(

Sunk Joint City! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool: That's a covetable stockman, Jer! ;)

Thanks, Tom. :) Is the fact that BF is an acronym for both Blade Forums and Blue Farmer meaningful?? :rolleyes::thumbsup:

Two worthy tools, Jack! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Notable pair, Nick! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

I'm not sure if a Barlow would admit to being classy, but your Case is certainly classic, Randy! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Dylan, I'm delighted that you're still dealing in dynamic duos! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup: I hope your work lets you "come up for air" a little more frequently in the near future.

A pair of iconic knives, Steve!! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

I've enjoyed your "Beach Buck Canoe" this week, Ron, and I really like your comments about it! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup::)

I appreciate your saying so, Dean.:)

Yeah, those skinny single-bladed knives don't generate a lot of heat on their own, even though they look like glowing embers! ;):thumbsup::cool:

Congrats, Guardian Dwight!! That looks like some satisfying stag! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup: Your patience was inspiring. ;)

Wonderful is an apt description of the baseball Tinker! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup: How is that book?

Colorful pic, Ken! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup: An election season quote from Churchill: "The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter."

Powerful pairing, Jeff! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thinned the Böker down to almost a zero edge...wicked slicer is an understatement;)
Still can't seem to find a brass/stag whittler to pair with it though :(

I’m getting a strong urge to whittle.:thumbsup:

Nothing wrong with the rest of your collection, but when these roll around on the rotation, I’d throw the schedule out the window and get stuck on these for awhile.:thumbsup:
