Fabulous bone on that pen, Nick! No patina yet, but I completed my mod of the pen to a coping on this Buffalo Jack.

Wonderful mod! Much more functionality to a coping blade, in my opinion.

This is the second to the last week of my 38-week rotation schedule, and I don't remember doing this intentionally, but there were a BUNCH of my prized Case CV chestnut jigged bone knives on the schedule this week.
Stockman was a sowbelly (thanks, Ron), and one of my EDCs is a Sodbuster Jr (from BigBiscuit GAW):

I bought my first xx18 to reward a hardware store for stocking Case, but it's become a favorite pattern for me.

I like your "support your local hardware store" philosophy, Jer. I like that old Case, too.
