What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

A beautiful Unity Lambie, Jack, terrific jigging! I've been carrying 2-blade jacks for a couple weeks, and I'm starting to go through withdrawal for a stockman, so this one goes in pocket today. 1978 Schrade USA built Parker-Frost Bison in brown jigged bone.

An old Case 5254 trapper i can’t remember where i picked up. I just got the whim to tote it today so i sharpened the blades and oiled the joints and stuck it in my pocket. I have no idea how old it is but it has a nice patina and the main blade still has some snap to it.

@5K Qs Always enjoy seeing your Case Soddie GT.

Weck.
Both old guys are excellent! Old Guys need love too!

A recent adoption, Gebr. Müller

I ISKRA What pen did you use? Füllhalter (fountain pen). The shading in the strokes makes it look like you used a fountain pen.

Oh, my bad. It's a regular ballpoint pen with a not too liquid ink. Haven't used a Füllhalter since high school, even then I preffered the ones that were intended for lefties as they had ballpoint cartridges (do you know Stabilo Easy pens?). My handwriting wasn't half that bad at the time, unlike now.

And here's a knife pic to not go fully off topic. Thanks again @Will Power for this one!

I carried a couple of "free choice" knives this past week in addition to the knives prescribed by my rotation schedule. One free choice was a Rough Rider stag mini trapper:

Stupendous bone on your Unity Lambsfoot, Jack!:thumbsup:

I work 12 hour shifts. So my weekend is Wednesdays to Fridays off with ever other Tuesday off. It's actually really nice on my four day weekend.
That's great! When I was driving Bus, my shift started at 04:15 and finished at 16:15 Mon through Wed then 4 days off. Unless the office calls and wanted me to take on extra charter shifts

Thanks for the likes and the comments about this wharny 25. It's the epitome of "everything you need and nothing you don't". The wharncliffe has an excellent point for detail work and short, straight edge that is simple to maintain. Very pinchable. And the stag, while lacking spectacular looks, is very trim and provides excellent feel and traction. No wonder it rarely leaves my pocket!

:)

If you're going to pick two members to carry around, you can't really go wrong with Jack and Charlie.
Very cool looking knife. I've not heard of Indianhead.

At least one of them is a trapper :D

Got this one yesterday. I wasn't going to buy a stag #14 but this unusual one really spoke to me.
I call it the "Runt" because everybody was passing it over in favor of the more exotic looking stag.

Thanks my friend :) That knife has character :) I used to sometimes pick up Lambsfoot knives for folks, and get left with the 'runt', but they were often much-admired knives :)

Good morning, folks.

It is a nice cool, misty morning after a rather stormy day yesterday. I have these two close at hand today.

Weck.

Always a treat to see Nick

I have a bit of a fingerprint patina on this Winchester, not sure if I can Flitz it off without affecting the branding.

That Winchester is certainly a great-looking knife Tom, and in good company :)

Looking good, Jack!

I’m carrying a WLST today, too. I bought this one from Bob (BigBiscuit), who added the EO notch, which I really like on the spearpoint #25.

Two beauties Jack. The Unity is really something with that jigging.
