I like that toothpick you've been posting lately, Chip!
Serious knife firepower there, Jeff!...I like to carry something classy and not too big to church, but now it’s jack’o lantern time, I’m adding these to my arsenal.View attachment 1011213
Thanks, Dean, the 72 carries quite big IMHO.... Your GEC 72 looks like a sturdy carry!![]()
Dancing the Two Wharncliffe Waltz!
Looks like both knife and coin are justifiably cherished, Will!... I thought to carry something unusual and mellow coloured, GEC 56 Dogleg from the first run. Five Kopeck coin from Katherine the Great is a heavyweight coin indeed!

Looks like it worked again, Paul; congrats on the Red Sox winning it all!2014 Harness Jack that I bought from my friend Bob, (Bigbiscut) used it as a worry stone last night cheering for my/our Red Sox. Worked last night, so carrying today/night for same reason

Great that you could spend time with your boys, John!
Great looking "worry stone" knife, Harry!
Fine pic of a praiseworthy pair, David!![]()
Challenge & Utica yesterday and today. The Utica cut up an egg roll with scalpel like precision. Have no idea why a egg roll needs such precise dissection, but good to know the little knife was up to the task.
Thanks, Dwight.Outstanding beauties Gary! You sneaked those in while I was typing. Wonderful knives.![]()
I've never paid much attention to KSF's Northwoods knives, except for the Presidential, which I think is one of the finest knives available anywhere, anytime! Yours is awesome!!
Your horn lambsfoot is one of the best in the run IMHO, FBC!
I think the "TL" stands for "Tilt Left".This one somehow snuck it's way into my pocket too.
I thought I was listin' to port a little today.

Thanks, PJohn.Looks like my first knife (received 1968-1970). Wish I still had it! Don't know why I can't get another one. My baseball-themed Victorinox Tinker can perform the same functions--and more--in the meantime.
Nice patina there!
Thanks for the insightful quote, Rachel.Thank you, GT. Sad and angry pretty much sums it up, but to quote Mr. Rogers:
"When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, "Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping." To this day, especially in times of "disaster," I remember my mother's words and I am always comforted by realizing that there are still so many helpers – so many caring people in this world."
Thanks for the compliment and the testimonial to Bob's influence on so many on The Porch! Thanks Gary! That’s such a great pair of Chestnut Jigged Case knives.Your welcome and I know that SBJr is near and dear to you as well!
... Many of us here have knives that came from Bob! I know most of us will never part with them!![]()

Gorgeous! The Scouts are hands-down my favorite #15s.
Thanks for the kind words GT.I think I may have written this before, but your Peanut is probably the best example of Case bone stag I've seen!- GT
The stag on that Cracker Jack just seems to glow... Beautiful.Lambsfoot of the Week is my Cracker Jack, a stag lambsfoot (the entire run was sort of a gift to the community from Jack Black):
