What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

A gift from my friend Primble some years back, wish he was around more:thumbsup: a 2013 first release Scout, one of my favorites:)

Finally had time to take care of that edge thickness issue today ;)

I like that toothpick you've been posting lately, Chip!:cool::thumbsup: I have an unreasonable affection for big (4+") toothpicks, especially with TWO cutting blades (e.g., my clip/pen Imperial toothpick).

...I like to carry something classy and not too big to church, but now it’s jack’o lantern time, I’m adding these to my arsenal.View attachment 1011213
Serious knife firepower there, Jeff! ;):thumbsup: I have a Sabre Big Barlow like yours, but yours is in much better shape!:thumbsup::cool:

... Your GEC 72 looks like a sturdy carry!
Thanks, Dean, the 72 carries quite big IMHO. :) It's a grand knife!

These two again.

Dancing the Two Wharncliffe Waltz!:cool::thumbsup:

... I thought to carry something unusual and mellow coloured, GEC 56 Dogleg from the first run. Five Kopeck coin from Katherine the Great is a heavyweight coin indeed!

Looks like both knife and coin are justifiably cherished, Will!:thumbsup::cool:

2014 Harness Jack that I bought from my friend Bob, (Bigbiscut) used it as a worry stone last night cheering for my/our Red Sox. Worked last night, so carrying today/night for same reason:thumbsup:

...
Looks like it worked again, Paul; congrats on the Red Sox winning it all!:thumbsup::cool:

... I carried this "campus carry legal" Peanut with me even though it got zero usage.
Great that you could spend time with your boys, John!:thumbsup::) I think I may have written this before, but your Peanut is probably the best example of Case bone stag I've seen!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Looks good my friend and I will be having my new Elderberry 14 Cripple Creek with me for my worry stone as I am also for the Red Sox tonight . I have never been for the Dodgers since 1947 .

Harry
Great looking "worry stone" knife, Harry!:thumbsup::cool: Why did you abandon the Dodgers in '47? Was it related to the player with same number as GEC's Missouri Trapper?

Challenge & Utica yesterday and today. The Utica cut up an egg roll with scalpel like precision. Have no idea why a egg roll needs such precise dissection, but good to know the little knife was up to the task.
Fine pic of a praiseworthy pair, David!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Outstanding beauties Gary! You sneaked those in while I was typing. Wonderful knives. :)
Thanks, Dwight. :)

Northwoods Presidential. @paulhilborn Go Sox!!!

I've never paid much attention to KSF's Northwoods knives, except for the Presidential, which I think is one of the finest knives available anywhere, anytime! Yours is awesome!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Your horn lambsfoot is one of the best in the run IMHO, FBC!:thumbsup::cool:

This one somehow snuck it's way into my pocket too.
I thought I was listin' to port a little today.

I think the "TL" stands for "Tilt Left". ;):p

GT I like the looks of the mini trapper good one.:thumbsup::D
Beautiful knive Mr. GT!!!;)
Thanks, Dave & Senhor Pinto. :)

Checkered handles are SO appealing!!:cool::thumbsup:

Yesterday's carry- making the most of my autumnal pockets.

That's a quality quintet for the colder climes, Jer!:cool::thumbsup: What's the knife in the middle? I should find a knife or two to keep in my winter coat, now that I'm starting to wear it quite often already; I suppose a Cold Steel Kudu is at least temperature-appropriate.

Really enjoying all your carry pick pics.
High productivity pair, Jeff!:thumbsup::cool: What is that tile design in so many of your pics??

...
Thanks for your interest in my Haywood :) Not a Lambsfoot unfortunately, but still a very useful, and extremely pocketable, knife

Thanks GT, nice knives to start the week with :)
Thanks for holding my knives in high esteem, Jack. ;) This photo of your Haywood is one of my favorite pics of yours.:thumbsup::cool: It accentuates the lovely grain in the handle, and it displays both the stovepipe kick and the cool tea kettle tang stamp (put the kettle on the stove, Ma ). And then the book in the background looks like something I could enjoy for hours!!:thumbsup::)

Looks like my first knife (received 1968-1970). Wish I still had it! Don't know why I can't get another one. My baseball-themed Victorinox Tinker can perform the same functions--and more--in the meantime.
Nice patina there!
Thanks, PJohn. :) Your Tinker has all the tools as my scout knife, plus you've got the extra pen blade.:cool::thumbsup:

Thank you, GT. Sad and angry pretty much sums it up, but to quote Mr. Rogers:
"When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, "Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping." To this day, especially in times of "disaster," I remember my mother's words and I am always comforted by realizing that there are still so many helpers – so many caring people in this world."
Thanks for the insightful quote, Rachel.:thumbsup:

Thanks Gary! That’s such a great pair of Chestnut Jigged Case knives. Your welcome and I know that SBJr is near and dear to you as well! :)
... Many of us here have knives that came from Bob! I know most of us will never part with them! :)
Thanks for the compliment and the testimonial to Bob's influence on so many on The Porch! :):cool:

Today with my new arrival Victorinox alox pioneer limited edition of Nespresso Dharkan 2018...;)

The stag on that Cracker Jack just seems to glow... Beautiful.

Thank you GT. I share your opinion on the Presidential. It is the only knife that I have an exact duplicate "just in case anything happens" knife. This is one I never want to be without.

5K Qs 5K Qs : I was a Yankees fan because a #5 and then # 7 and the American League or anti Dodgers but I am no longer a Yankees fan . It is like : I am for the Brewers and Cubs and whoever is playing the Dodgers .
