What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Rain showers on and off today, so not much cutting duty, except opening the mail and clipping a cigar later. I looked around for some easy carry old fellas for today's totin'. I grabbed this barehead 02 (1920-1940) and a 35 (1940-1964) - Case closed.

What a treat !! :D

D Duckdog Stuart, your pair of curvy MOP knives today are stunning! Can’t decide which one I like better.

Gebr. Dittmar Heilbronn sleeveboard and the Weck pen today.

Thanks, Nick. Your sleeveboard and shadow are no slouches, either.

Beautiful Stuart

Starting the week off with these two :)

Thanks, Jack. Your gleaming horn lambsfoot seems to have influenced Half/Stop Half/Stop 's totin' pick today. It's a beauty.

A little micarta for today, enjoy your day!

Your picture brightened my day, Jeff. Thanks. Nice knives, too.

Sunday's carry.
This thing is one heck of a slicer!

Still beautiful a day later.

The fall colors have inspired me to carry my pocket worn harvest orange peanut for the last few days. (Autumn sassafras would also be a good name for this color. :D )

After seeing all the Tasty Peanuts being posted, I dropped this little gift into my pocket..

Ace, like Jeff's post, your picture was a real treat on a drizzly day here. You and John have revved up the Peanut Parade with some savory offerings.

So... I carried the OT as today's working knife, carried the Buck aka OZ, and the little RR to show to my boss, got rained out of landscaping work we was going to do, work truck brakes started scrubbing so off I went to get it fixed, while killing time walked around the block to a general store, bought a yellow Case cv trapper, =Full pocket, lol

That's quite an afternoon, David, and a handful of knives that would make anyone proud - a cutlery work crew.

A ‘17 Guardians Lambsfoot in Horn and a ‘88 Black Box Winchester #2935. I haven’t carried this Guardians in a while, it’s still a beauty. I have seen the Winchester called a Half Congress or a Congress Pen. I know it’s the same pattern as the Northwoods Norfolk. It’s a terrific knife with that beautiful bone. Have a great Monday! :)

The horn on your lambsfoot is mesmerizing, Ron. That BB is a treasure (I think the pattern is a swell center congress). It is one of the nicer BB Winchesters that I've seen. Pinched bolsters, sunk joints, sinuous shield, and that remarkable jigging - what's not to like. I've heard that the jigged bone was obtained by Camillus from old Utica stock, but I not seen confirmation of that.

Utica Today

Your Utica jack made my elderly Case jacks feel right at home, Steve. Thanks.

No Barlow today instead I'm carrying my VIC Spartan and Case Teardrop.

Lovely teardrop, Randy, albeit with it's tear tip out of the picture. I guess it's a little shy.

I felt guilty over excluding this peanut earlier.

And well you should feel that way, Jeff, dissing such a handsome old 'nut. A true pocket knife.

What a treat !! :D

Thanks, Gev, and thanks for the Perry Como memories. I remember watching his TV show. He may have been my inspiration to wear nice sweaters, instead of the same old sweatshirt, when I went to the teen club on Friday nights.

Those are a couple of beauties !

Thank you, the Rams Horn is almost eerie .

Painting is by Tizian, Pope Paul III, a larger than life character !
Ah, Titian! Of course.
I generally like larger than life characters!
(Paul III seems to have been a much better pope than the current one.)

“Grabbed”?
Are you sure it was not “reverently selected with trembling fingers and slightly sweaty palms”?:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Appreciate your kind comments as well as the visual treat!

Thanks for the compliment on my Lambsfoot Stuart! :) I believe that Queen did obtain the bone and it was indeed old Utica stock. :) Hey buddy we need to talk sometime soon. ;)
