What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Robeson

@combat: That Mora looks great. That´s one of the original one with the redpainted handles without a handguard. How long do you already have this? The production stopped a long time ago, I can remember.

Kind regards
Andi

They are still being made, same build and quality.

My first traditional knife in 30 years arrived today so I'm totin' it. This is my new Sway Back Jack.

Still have the Henckles red jigged bone trapper I bought 30 some years ago.

Nice, interesting looking knife. It looks like the scales are inset into a steel frame...?

Sam

Thanks for the compliment Sam. Yes, there is a nickel silver frame that the scales fit into and looks rather difficult to accomplish. Maybe why I have never seen anything else like it.

My brother bought me this Case Copperhead in sky blue for my B-day a few days ago and have been carrying it since while I'm not a huge fan of Tru-sharp this may sway my opinion.

My "one year challenge" with my 57 has already failed.

Just too nice for me. Every time I use it I am polishing it like a mad man. I also miss the extra blade length of my 85. Its not much more but it makes a big difference for some reason.

So I am back to my 85

Maybe this one will stay in my pocket for the next year without any "challenge" :)

That's what sold me on the #85! Both my #56 and my Conductor I find a little too small for EDC. The #56 I'll keep because it's a sweet knife, the Conductor will probably find a new home...

Bullnose again.

Sam,

I feel bad giving up, but why carry something you feel bad using?? I will be keeping the 57 though :)

Its a gem of a knife.
