Hard starting Monday after a holiday weekend! Have a good one!

Nice Swayback! Is it a mammoth Monday or micarta Monday post?:)

Great Lloyd, Alan !
I'll join you with a mammoth Monday post.

Thanks Gary. Is that a pinched peanut in mammoth? Superb craftsmanship. It just goes to show that when someone like AG was in charge the quality from a production facility could produce a knife second to none. He will be missed.

Thanks. It was a gamble, but it's a solid knife, just can't find no information on the brand.
Hope I didn't swipe it from you. I just stole one from r8shell, felt bad about it.
Well, I watch infinitely more than I can afford to compete for!
Some gems start out in my ballpark, but don’t finish that way, for example, just about any Cattaraugus.
I’m trying to look for basket cases on which I can hone my repair/ mod skills.
If I recall, there’s no tang stamp on Brian, is there?
Please don't feel bad about it. I thought it was funny, and I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often. :D
LOL- probably happens more than we know. Buncha knife snipers on the porch.:D

Exactly what I do, most I can't do, old Case, Catt's, IXL's and the like.
Correct, no tang stamp whatsoever, just the Brian banner on the blade.

Today, giving the Case some air time...with Henry oversight!

Alan, It is an AG pinched peanut in mammoth and VG-10. IMO, it's as good as it gets for a manufactured knife.
If I recall correctly the knives are made in Japan and finished at their place in Arkansas using mammoth from their stock. Rivals some of my custom slip joints as far as fit and finish go.
