Thanks Jeff and I hear ya, I sometimes switch knives a few times a day but for now I’m hooked on this yellow stockman. I really enjoy the no frills simplicity of it. I really like the yellow Schrade you posted and the pair of Camillus oldies are just great!I like your custom of sticking with a particular knife for more than just a day. I keep wanting to do that, but don't know which one to start with. That thing gets prettier every day.
Beautiful stag on those. What I've been rockin for the past couple of days

The SAK Secretary is an always appreciated gift to both knife knuts and the uninitiated.I guess I don't have the time or energy to do a multi-quote post tonight (I do have a bunch of recent posts on which I'd like to comment, though). But I should at least post pics of some of the knives I'm carrying this week.
Alox of the Week is a Vic Secretary (thanks, Ken K):

The soup and Founders...spectacular !!A cold drizzle met me this morning, so outside carry and photos were dubious. I did get out enough to gather some more Honey Mushrooms from my front yard as I may have mentioned previously. I made them into a rustic forestière mushroom soup (chicken stock, thyme, and rosemary work wonders). I added a strip of the Black Pepper Crusted bacon that we bought from our daughter-in-law at the farmers market and a Founders Brewing Porter.

My Wright lambsfoot (thanksJack Black ) was a bit shy, despite having helped in the harvest, so I had to shoot another pic. Silly knife!

A dreary day can still be a great day!

Yes, that banana is just turning ripe. But it is closer to rotten than their "green banana bone". I don't have an example of it though. That is beautiful, but they should call it "ripe" instead of "rotten"!
Good Morning! Today I am carrying an A Wright Golden Buffalo Horn Lambsfoot.

What a great duo there Jack, both beautiful knives my friend but that is one of the nicest anniversary Soups I've seen![]()
I hope everyone had a terrific Thanksgiving and if you don't celebrate, I hope you at least enjoyed the day that it falls on for us Americans.
I've been unable to keep up here the last few days and do not have the time to get caught up on 300ish posts but I know I can be assured that everyone has been toting some mighty fine cutlery.
I just got this one back from Glennbad and straight into the pocket it went. Thanks again, Glenn!

Got home early so grabbed my friends and on our prairie walk we went14°, not bad if it wasn't for 30 mph winds
no difference to the dogs however.
My Brazilian 85 with recent EO notch and the start of a patina thanks to cheese, summer sausage, strawberries and apples
