What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Still rolling with the engineers knife. Nothing exactly rare. One of approximately 3,282,988 made.

Most of us have way more knives than we “need”, or even use, but if you could only have one...
Considering what that knife might have gone through, it’s in remarkable shape.

If I had to pick only one knife from my collection, this engineers knife would definitely be in my top 5 to choose from. Probably the top 3. It has that wonderful combination of history, beauty and utility. It also just happens to fit perfectly into the leather pouch I made for my father-in-law, a couple years before he passed, which was designed to fit a Camillus scout knife based on the same #14 pattern. So pretty much everything about the engineers knife works for me in a big way.

Sorry for the lack of wood for Woodnesday, but having just finished re-handling the little Klein Sheepfoot, and needing more get acquainted time with this altogether pleasing Buck Blade Forums knife, it’s Elk Wednesday for me.
And like the elk on the little fixed blade, the antler scales on the Klein were rescued from the pet aisle at the store and spared the ignominious fate of becoming a dog chew
