Thank you, Jack, for the compliment and no worries on the lemons, they will occur in life whether you look for them or not. It is all about how you take it in stride . I love the combo you are sporting.

Carrying "12:25" today. :)

Oh my... I never would have thought to see 4 versions of one of my favorite TCs in one place. Just beautiful and a nicely composed picture.

Your lambsfoot and Northfield Barlow make a nice strawberries&cream pair, Dylan!:thumbsup::thumbsup: Sorry to hear about the knife disappointments; do you want to share any details?

Thank you, GT, for the kind words. In terms of my recent disappointments, it is water under the bridge for the most part. I received a couple of GECs from their recent run that did not measure up to what I have come to expect from them in regards to their good quality. I also got a small fixed blade that didn't turn out to be quite what I had hoped for. Things like this happen and it all serves to keep one well grounded so I am moving on and am optimistic about the next knife that will be inbound.

Still can't seem to find anything to kick this out of my pocket...It's the perfect daily carry for me...As a Xmas present to myself I am thinking of shipping it off to be professionally sharpened but not sure how many weeks I can stand to be without it:eek:

The Churchill still remains one one my favorite knives, especially for EDC. I've been neglecting it lately though, I will need to remedy that.

Thanks, Dylan, and I agree with @5K Qs that your pretty stag and cranberry saw-cut pair are a sweet strawberry and cream combo.

Thank you for the compliments, Stuart. I want to reiterate how much of a pleasure it is to see your collection, it is almost as if we are discovering new things with every box you open up and share with us.

I went with a dark duo today.

It is getting to be a pretty redundant job of posting the same knife just about every Monday thru Friday , but I did carry this one again today and used it to open quite a few packages coming in for Christmas Gifts . Having this in hand is just like having a razor . It really is an Old Jewel .

Honestly , I will carry something else tomorrow . I do have a couple other decent ones to choose from . Does anyone have any suggestions ???:);)

Thanks Stuart, I have been very lucky finding some nice ones on E-Bay ;)

Shsssh, that's our secret, Steve.

A fine pairing yourself today . I just got the email from Mike that the new, improved Plow has shipped. Very much looking forward to it.

Thanks, Tom. I await your report on the new version.

Thank you, Dylan. I am very fortunate to have friends with whom I can share the bounty that my stepfather bestowed upon me (and the odd pieces that I pick up). Your "dark" offering brightened my day. what symmetry!

D Duckdog Thanks Stuart! Really like those 2 workhorses you have today. Simple and and solid looking knives!

This Camillus 40 for me today.

Thanks, Nick. That 40 is like dessert.

Snapped this pic on the way in the house before there was no daylight left:thumbsup:
Case 52032 stag in CV:thumbsup:

Heaven smiled on that picture, Paul, if it was a snap shot. What a classic beauty.

Some ironwood for wooden Wednesday

Correction: "Some elegant ironwood to top off wooden Wednesday."

Harry, I defer to you, but the thread is all about "what are you totin' today". No traditional knife that is carried with pride is unworthy of posting and, if it is a favorite with repetitive carries, so be it. Several Porch members work with the same knives daily. I'd just as soon see those as the couple that I happen to pick up and poke in my pocket for the day. In a true tool view, they are even more worthy. Carry and show some different ones, if you want, but I'm not near tired of your daily totin' choices.

I know I've shown this knife a couple of times before, but it keeps finding its way into my pocket. I hadn't carried it for a couple of months, but here it is again. The pull on both blades is perfect for me. And the secondary blade, shown here, is just right for most tasks.

Excellent work Jeff :) I hear a lot of good stag is getting wasted on dog chews, so it's good you were able to rescue a little

Thanks, Jack,
Do you have dogwood over there? That looks like a dogwood flower right below that pretty stag.

Stellar old Schrade, Gev. You, kai76 kai76 , Amir Fleschwund Amir Fleschwund , @r8shell , Old Engineer Old Engineer , and @SteveC (and a few more folks) certainly have those fine older knives in good shape and I appreciate seeing them.

Fine knives and great restoration/modification work, Jeff.
