What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thank you Del! Merry Christmas to you and yours! :)

That is a beautiful pruner r8shell! :thumbsup: Jack is a special friend to us here. His generosity is an example to us all! :)

Thanks Jack! :)

Thank you for the kind words Stuart! I hope your well my friend! :)

I had to be knifeless for a portion of the day! :( Since 12:43 pm I’ve had this Case 62032 Texas Jack in my pocket! :D

I think that beautiful Red Jigged Bone Case might could also be called a Reverse Gunstock Jack too .

Harry

Dylan, a very beautiful pipe and lambsfoot, warm and toasty! I was blessed to find the sowbelly at a knife show in St. Louis which I attended along with Rick (Railsplitter) and Tom (Whetstone39). The stag instantly grabbed my devotion and out came the wallet. :)

Thank you for your kind words my friend, may you rarely be knifeless ;) :thumbsup:

As it's Wednesday here already; only three more days for post to arrive before Christmas, bang goes the Forum Knife under the tree :( ; I decided to carry a Small BB Gunstock, unlike other small knives this handles well. Toy it aint :D

Smashing Gunstock Will :thumbsup:

Thanks for your kind comments.

Agreed!

The cat was only vaguely interested in the new objects, too intent on claiming the last bit of afternoon sunlight on the back steps.

:) :thumbsup:

Thank you for the compliments, fellas, it is indeed a special looking knife.

I've been enjoying your pictures, Dwight. Always a treat.

Look at that dusky horn! A gorgeous knife, r8shell, Jack did good.

Nice to see that Golden horn, fellas. Has a way of brightening the day.

That Sowbelly is absolutely stunning, Jeff! I can't stop looking at it, an exceptional knife.

An exquisite knife with some notable jigging. A terrific picture, Dean!

It is a day where I felt like having a bit of Stag in my pockets.

Your photos always brighten my day Dylan :) :thumbsup:

Thank you, my friend. I am rather fond of them. What I find interesting is that out of these two knives are three completely different variations of Stag. The pile side of the Lambsfoot is markedly different but no less attractive.

It looks like we got the reversed mis-matched sides on our Lambsfoots. :D
I like the contrast. What's important is they match in thickness & shape. :thumbsup:

Stag is always interesting :) :thumbsup:

Fancy Canoe of the Week: Case Rough Black canoe (thanks, Alan). It has nothing in the way of special adornment, but I guess I consider Case knives more fancy than Rough Riders by default.

Versatile, varied threesome, Joshua! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

These two Ebony Beauties seem to end up in my pocket more than any others...
Distinguished dusky duo, John! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

#51 today

Classic Camillus Barlow, Steve! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Still raining here, so time on The Porch is limited so I can mop and dry. We've broken our regional record for annual precipitation and the last week has proven to be the final straw for our basement. After 40 years of dry floors, we had an "incursion" yesterday. I turned a large wet/dry vac into a sump pump and turned on a carpet fan that a friend gave me years ago. Luckily, things calmed down by 1:00 a.m. and I got some sleep. Fingers crossed today, as it is still drizzling. even the knife pics are wet:

Stuart, I hope you can dry out without much damage. :( That pearl stockman is pure poetry! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup: What's the brand? Edge ___

Thanks John. Since I'm not wearing pants today, I can't say how well it rides in the pocket. Id've posted a picture of it in my hand in my shorts but thought better of it as my legs would probably crash the site for sure.
...
I had a couple of replies to this, but on second thought, I'll just quietly back away...
:D:eek:
Discretion is the better part of valor. ;):thumbsup: You must play a Wise Man in the Christmas pageants, Jeff! :D

...
Thank you for the information, Gary. Your horn Lambsfoot is luminescent! :thumbsup::thumbsup:
...
Sunday carry.

Thanks for noticing that inner light on the horn lambsfoot, Dean. :) That shield looks fantastic on your teardrop! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

Today again, GEC 83.
I love the back side of this knife, it's different and rare to find a stag with so many wrinkles!!!
...
Your stag 83 is superb, Senhor Pinto! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

...
What can I say? I'm a rebel. ;)
I'm sure you have a cause, though. :thumbsup::D

Guilty as charged.
Fly Fishing and Four Wheeling in my Jeep are my two main hobbies these days.
:thumbsup::cool::)

My new Plow helping me prep some ingredients for a homemade pizza.

It is a knife-and-fork kind of pizza :).

I nominate Tom to cater The Porch Pizza Party!! ;):thumbsup::D

Thanks, Gary! It's always good to see the ubiquitous four. :thumbsup:
...
LOL! Thanks GT :D Always good to see your Immutables! :) :thumbsup:
Thanks, Dean & Jack. :) (It's also good to always see them, for me. ;))

I would never accuse you of mindless repetetive redundant reiteration.
I did survive a lot of teacher’s wit.

A looong time ago.:(

:thumbsup::D

I'm starting this busy week off with these two, my 2018 Guardians Lambsfoot in ebony, and a lovely Case Stockman, which is just one of the knives my friend @herder gifted me recently :) Have a good week folks :thumbsup:...
Killer kick-off to the week, Jack! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup: (I'm not sure I would find that blue book a page-turner. :rolleyes:)

Thank you Alan. Here's mark and pile shots.

Such an unforgettable knife, Dwight! :cool::cool::thumbsup: I don't know what pattern it actually is, but I think of it as the most unique canoe Michigan has ever produced! ;):thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks, man, you're too kind.
Wait, do we have a BF calendar?!
OK, it's actually a virtual calendar that's a figment of my imagination, but IMHO it's an inspired concept! ;):thumbsup::cool:

Heading into the home stretch.

Case amber bone trapper and stag lambsfoot from A. Wright & Son, Sheffield.
That's a power couple, John!! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

LOL! Thanks GT, that could be it! :D Nice bunch of knives there my friend, I take a Farmer hiking with me, and I also have one of those Marbles Sowbellies somewhere :thumbsup:
...
Thanks for tipping your cap for my choices, Jack. :) A relative newbie like me feels like he's on the right course if he has some of the same knives as a "lifer" like you! :cool::thumbsup:;)

5K Qs 5K Qs The amber stag sowbelly does have some deep color and I’ll have to check on the shields. It never occurred to me to look.
Thanks, Alan. :) I'm especially curious about the shield on the stacked leather model.

I agree #15 is about all a fella really needs besides a Lambsfoot :thumbsup::D
Defensible amendment to my claim, Dave! :D:thumbsup::cool:

...
Thanks GT, the Marbles is a looker!

These two for me today.

Thanks for the Marbles mention, Tom. :) That scout/Plow pair is another dynamic duo of folders!! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

As for the good deed, it's nothing that you would not have done!

Not to diminish your immutables, or down play their unchangeableness, but this Alox Farmer of yours makes me drool every time you show it. Not only that, I like it, too.
...
I doubt if I' have done the deed, Jeff. My spirit is willing, but my maintenance skills are weak. :(
Thanks for your favorable reaction to the Farmer. :) I mentioned somewhere that it's a strong candidate for Knife of My Life! ;):thumbsup::thumbsup:

Sorry to bore you guys but this one’s here to stay...
Notable knife, Nick! :cool::cool::thumbsup: What were the qualities that turned it into a long term EDC for you??

Thanks Gary 5K Qs 5K Qs ! I hope your grin is a toothy as your farmer today.
:D The preceding emoji is a reasonable facsimile for my grin, Joshua; what do you think? Comparable to the Farmer saw blade?? :rolleyes:
