Beautiful shoes, and a usefull blade combo... How is it in hand with the different blades open?

Thanks, guys. I'd already taken a couple pictures when the black kitten slowly stretched out his paw and placed it on the knife handle, just so. Serendipity!

And, not to worry, I'm very careful around the kittens. These are new foster babies, about four weeks old, and they were just barely waking (and moving in slow motion) when I took a few quick pictures. In any other circumstance, there's no way I'd have a blade open near them; even so I had my other hand poised just out of the frame ready to snatch knife or kitten(s) if needed. The kittens develop so quickly, I don't anticipate having (or seeking to create) another open-blade opportunity again with this litter.

It sits in the hand nicely regardless of which blade is open with no protrusion to dig into the fingers when using it. It is the two blade version of Cases three blade 92 pattern stockman.
 
Today, I'm carrying this one -- CV 4" Case 6347 5-dot (1985 manufacture) Stockman. Note the mismatched covers.

Thanks, man! I like the Seahorse for carving. The main blade's spine is wide enough for a comfortable thumb-push, avoiding the "whittler's thumb"
you get from thinner spines when working for an extened period. The smaller blades are great for detail work. :)

I was out on the trout stream this morning with my Menefee Half Congress in my pocket;

I get a little jealous every time I see one of those 2011 Bladeforums knives. I really wish I was able to get in on that one.

Can anyone recommend me a similar pattern (1 blade, 1 screwdriver/cap lifter)? Or better yet is anyone out there willing to part with theirs? :D
 
I'm carrying and using a Menefee dogleg today. One day I'll figure out how to post pictures and be able to participate a little more on this great sub forum.
 
Took my Case BSA olive bone pen to work today, Schatt autumn gold bone spear whittler in my pocket right now. The Schatt is one of my favorite whittlers, the FnF is fine and the walk and talk terrific.

Every time I see one of those Lloyd swayback's I drool a little, what great knives!

There are a few vintage patterns that incorporate those features though I'm not sure what they'd be called. One more modern-style option is the Vic Bantam which I like with Alox scales.
