What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Inspired by you this morning Dwight, I will match your carry for the day. Along with my forum Buck.

Not doing much today except hang around the house and watch the playoffs (football). I'll probably swap knives about a dozen times during the day. So, I'll just post a picture of the one I currently have out to keep me company while I drink my morning coffee.... GEC #15 Scout

That is a great one, John.

I’m sure ole Jethro went to a good home! The main thing is you made Miss Norma happy!! ;) That’s a very interesting sticker you have there my friend! I’m just curious how many fixed blades your goodie box contains! :D

Barring some unforeseen catastrophe, I probably won’t get out of the house today. I feel confident that I’m prepared for any cutting that needs to be done! ;)

wow. that a wright is outstanding. never seen one like it. what is the handle material?

Thanks for the kind words! This is a standard size / medium Lambsfoot and the covers are Pere David Stag. It’s quite different from your typical Sambar. It has a smooth texture and a character of its own. I like it! :)
she’s a looker for sure. thanks for the info.

nice knife

can you tell us more about the pocket gadgets
Thanks.
The magnifier fits in the leather case and the handle folds down under the snap. I have a churchkey and a Sears 4-way screwdriver on a beaded chain through the magnifier. I carry that in my key case so I'm not forced to carry a big SAK for the magnifier and tools.

Thank you my friend, I'm enjoying your doggy pics and tales, and that's an interesting knife

Thanks Dwight :)

Hope everyone is having a good weekend, and that y'all have a relaxing Sunday :) I'm carrying these two, an A.Wright & Son Lambsfoot (Big 'Un) in antique ivory, and a vintage Kent Fish Knife @r8shell recently gifted me

Ain't seen a finer knife than that ivory lambsfoot. Dylan's glennbad-modded jigged red bone lambsfoot is up there too.

The quotes I included below are mostly from last Wednesday and Thursday; sorry for my time management deficiencies. :(

For Thursday, going back to these:
...Probably my two best.

Thanks, Jack & Dwight. :) As my mind gradually deteriorates, it's comforting to know that I can have multiplication facts always with me. Dwight, your Camillus EO with bail is such a classic!:cool::thumbsup:

...
I’ll stick with the cocobolo TL29 as I throback to all Schrade today. Well, SW and Schrade. This 33OT throws back to the mid ‘70s, when it was one of my collection of two.

Couple of classics, Jeff!:thumbsup::thumbsup: (From a "simpler time". ;))

Today I am carrying this wonderful gift from our resident Finnish "knife boy" Kevin. An unusually marked knife, maybe a predecessor of the Charlie Dorton Bulldog brand knives which came on the scene in the late 1970s....
Congrats on that grand gift, Jeff, and accolades to Kevin for his kindness!:cool::thumbsup: Fascinating stamps!

...Where are your carries?
I'm going Sow today !
...
I wonder which photos Flickr will delete in Feb? They lied too...they should show some honor
Gev, your Primble sowbelly is superb!:thumbsup::cool: Is Flickr now mistreating its users??
Thanks for your concern about my carries ;). I posted some later in the day.

Hoochie Mama, Dee!:thumbsup::thumbsup: (Knife levitation of glorious folders is apparently one of your many skills!! ;))

Many thanks Mr. Gary, this knife has never been sharpened by me, I usually sharpen my knives with the stone...;)
Thanks for answering my question, Senhor José. :)

...
Gary, I think your Winchester Canoe is particularly nice!
...
Thanks, Dean. :) That canoe looks pretty good, but it's not very well made. :(

...
Now in Kevin’s true style of ever thoughtful kindness he looked over my past posts until he figured out a knife that would be special to me. He saw that I really am fond of Olsen knives and have been slowly acquiring a few. He had a total of ONE Olsen OK folder which he promptly packaged up with the Schrade Walden and sent to me as a gift. ...

Thank you for the Joker info, GT, I will be on the lookout for them. The Sowbelly pattern is just superb and I am enjoying it immensely, I am happy to see I am not alone in that sentiment. :D

Dylan, I think you'll enjoy a Joker - no joke.;) Vibrant colors in your yellow/red combo!:cool::thumbsup: (Add a green and you get credit for the highly-prized "traffic signal trio". :D:rolleyes:)

The 78 cut up some tomatoes while the pearl one did what it does best, look pretty ...
Notable pair, Nick!:thumbsup::cool: You're getting some good mileage out of that handsome 78 lately!
